Getting to know riley

Maya's pov
Since my family wanted to know somethings about Riley I decided to tell them somethings about bestfriend and how we've always remained strong even after a whole love triangle we never let any boy come between us

"Well she's the bestfriend you could ever ask for she's super quirky and happy all the time the opposite of me she's a ray of sunshine she always wants to fix things she believes the good in people she's full of hope that's what I love about her" I said as I smiled

"She sounds great" Callie said with a huge smile on my face

"I'm so glad I met a girl like her I'm glad I came through her window after I heard her singing" I said in a huge grin at the thought of the memory

"I loved the singing I heard so I escaped the house were my parents were fighting and We'd talk through all our feelings in the bay window she was my safe place I was so grateful to have somebody like her" I said in a loving voice before continuing

"I'm also grateful to have been placed in such a loving home I've never had that before" I said in such a loving voice but the second part I said broken

"I'm so glad that your safe and loved and your truly a member of this family and we wouldn't have it any other way" Stef said with so much love as they all pulled me into a group hug

As I heard someone knock on the door as Lena opened it I was so surprised and happy about who it was

"Riley" I screamed in happiness

"Maya" Riley screamed in happiness as we both engulfed in an emotional hug

"I missed you so much maya" Riley said with so much love

"I missed you 2" maya said as I couldn't help but engulf her in a big hug

"We have a lot to talk about couch right now" Riley said as she grabbed my hand and led me to the couch

"So how have you been" Riley said with a loving voice

"I've been great I'm just lucky to find a family who loves me and is safe" I said in a loving voice grateful for everything

"That's great you deserve a loving home and deserve to be loved and happy and I hope you know that" Riley said in her usual quirky voice

"I know that now so how's New York been and everything with farkle zay and Lucas " I asked wondering

"Their good they miss you a lot farkles been the same loving science genius we all know and love and zay been good the same hilarious boy we all know and love and Lucas is the same boy we both fell in love with" Riley said quirky

"Are you and Lucas together since he picked you" I asked maya honestly

"I wanted to get your blessing first make sure it's ok because you know our friendship means the world to me and no one will ever come between us" Riley said making sure she understood

"Riley if Lucas is going to make you happy then go for it be happy you deserve to be happy" I said with so much love

"So do you maya and I'm glad your getting everything you ever wanted a family even if we are miles apart" Riley said happy for her bestfriend

"You have my blessing to date Lucas I'm not going to get away of that because someday I will find someone for me a boy who loves me it may take some time but I know all find him someday" I said with so much love and hope

"I'm glad to see you again it's been so long all come back to visit any chance I get" Riley said happy as she gave her bestfriend a big hug

"Me too and I know all see you again" I said before grabbing her hand

"Maya do you still get those nightmares you used to tell me about" Riley asked concerned

"I do but theirs less of them each day" I said with so much love and glad she cares

"I know their terrifying and I'm not always going to be in San Diego to help you through them and I'm glad you have a family to help you through it" Riley said with so much love before continuing

"But I want you to know if you need someone to talk to and those nightmares become hard to handle you could call me at any hour of the day or night and all be there with you" Riley said with so much

"I know because your Riley my bestfriend" I said with so much love

"Bestfriends forever and always and nothing is going to change that" Riley said with a smile on her face

"Ring power thunder" I said

"Lighting" Riley said as we put our rings together declaring our friendship

She's my bestfriend and nothing's going to change that
