"Every wave washes away the pain, slowly."

It was around my favorite time of the day, lunch.

Only because I get to be with Hudson and we don't share a lot of classes.

We were creating a bit of small talk, until a familiar face comes around.

An unwanted, familiar face.

Hudson was facing the other tables and I was facing the wall when the girl from earlier who was trying to get with Hudson sits next to him.

She just scoots so uncomfortably close to him leaving off where she left last time.

"Still sitting with her? I was sure by now you would find a new one!" She says.

"That's what I was gonna ask about you!" I say as if she would say it.

"It's crazy, isn't it?" Hudson plays along.

"Well anyway, I came over to tell you how good you look today!", she tells Hudson running her hands through his hair.

"No, this is not how this lunch period is going", he says chuckling removing her hands from her hands from his hair.

"You're just afraid your friend over here will get jealous", she says.

He sighs.

I'm watching all this happened all in front of me.

"Who cares anyway, she'll  probably end up killing herself after school", she says as if it flowed out of her mouth.

After that you could see "what actually did she just say" on Hudson's face.

I got up and grabbed my tray so I could get out of that conversation as soon as I can.

"Violet, wait!" Hudson yelled.

"Yeah Violet, wait!" She mimicked.

I rolled my eyes and turned to see what he had to say.

He turned to look at me and then her and with that time she grabbed his chin and I was shocked.

She kissed him.

I couldn't see if he was kissing back, but he did push her away.

I run out of the cafeteria totally in shock.

And I could here him behind me.
