His love roared louder than her demons."I can walk you home", Hudson suggested.
I nod to signal that it was okay.
________________________"Ugh...This is my least favorite part of the day", I groan.
"It shouldn't be like this", he says.
"Well, unfortunately, that is exactly how it is", I admit.
"Maybe I could uhh... Go in with you or you could come to my house", he suggested.
"I wish", I sigh.
"But you can!", he says with enthusiasm.
"BUT I CAN'T!!" I yell.
Silence.
"Just promise me one thing", he started.
I shrug my shoulders.
"Be safe", he says.
"That's kinda hard when everyone has hurt me", I tell him.
"Not me", he says turning away.
"Not yet", I say to myself.
Turning the handle of my front door was like turning the handle of the gates to hell.
You don't know what's in store, but you know it's going to be terrible.
I keep my eyes on the floor until I'm pushed into the dining table.
"AHH!!" I scream in pain.
"I told you stay away from that boy!" He yells at me.
At this point, tears of anger and pain are streaming down my face.
We are yelling and hitting each other.
"He's the reason for your depression and horrible grades!", my father yells at me.
"Open your eyes! Don't you see?!?You're the reason! You don't care that you're abusing me, but you care about my grades?!", I scream at both of them.
"Look at you you're insane", he spat.
"And you're an alcoholic", I spat back.
He slaps me across the face before pushing me towards the ground.
"I can make this a lot worse", he says.
