{Violet}
Right when you think it's getting better, it gets worse.

Coming home, I knew something was waiting to happen.

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Morgan", my mother starts to read a letter from my principal as I enter my house.

I sigh.

"I would like to inform you that your daughter's grades have gone down in the past year", she reads.

"Now explain to me why your grades are low!" She yells.

"Hmm let's see " I say.

"Well, for starters, I get no sleep!

"Well maybe you should go to sleep earlier!" She responds.

"I do go to bed early! You and Dad are always yelling at each other!" I yell.

"I get one meal every week !" I say.

"And finally, my parents abuse me and tell me how useless I am!" I scream.

"I don't know what you are talking about", she says quietly.

"You don't know what I'm talking about?!" I ask.

She shakes her head.

"When it gets too far, you'll know", I say as I go up to my room.
