I sat in a booth at a near by dinner, it was also the closest place walking distance from Brendon's house. Which helped with the fact I had to crutch there I was fumbling with my fingers trying to think threw what I was going to say when he showed up.
Someone cleared their throat to the left of me. I looked in the direction to see Colton.
"uh hey." I said. He nodded his head in my direction and sat down across from me.
"Listen I'm sorry about everything I've been a real jerk lately" he said.
"Don't apologize, you've actually helped me figure out what I want in life." I said looking into his eyes.
"what's that" he asked not breaking our stare.
"You" I said.
"Really" he said looking surprised
"yeah" I said looking down at the table blushing. Colton stood up and I felt the spot next to me dip under him sitting there.
"Why aren't you looking at me" he whispered. I shrugged. What he did next surprised me. He took his finger and lifted my chin so I was looking into his eyes.
"Jayden I have always loved you" he said and kissed me. I was shocked at first but after I registered what was happening I kissed him back.
I heard hollering from next to us. I pulled away and looked at the four dorks I should've known were there.
"Dude you owe me 5 bucks" David said to Jared. I laughed at them.
"Hey dorks" I said before getting tackled in a group hug from my other 4 favorite guys.
"Never leave us again" David said
"guys please don't hurt my girlfriend she's fragile" Colton Said
"yeah and if you break her fragile little heart ill break your face Dixon" Devin said.
"Does this mean you'll come back on tour with us? it's been so boring without you" Eric said and all the guys nodded. Colton stared at me biting his lip. It was a really cute bad habit of his when he was nervous.
"Yes" I finally said after a few moments of thinking.
"but I expect the greatest treatment ever or ill leave again" I added
"same old Jayden" Jared laughed.
"okay celebratory cheeseburgers and milkshakes on me" Colton said as the guys all piled into our little booth.
Colton squished me up against the wall with his arm around my shoulders. The guys and I spent the rest of the night cracking up and catching up. Things couldn't get better than this.
