Jongdae woke up in pain the next day. he knew it wasn't the right thing, but he didn't care. he couldn't stop Minseok. at least he tried.

he then realized that Minseok was 'big-spooning' him.

he was afraid that Minseok wouldn't remember a thing from last night and that's not what he wanted for his first time.

Jongdae wiggled out of Minseok's grip, careful not to wake him up. He was dearly scared for the pain Minseok would feel in his head once he woke up.

thinking ahead, Jongdae went to the freezer of the hotel room and took out emergency ice packs and grabbed a wash cloth from the bathroom.

he placed the cloth against Minseok's forehead and set the ice pack on top. then, he got a glass of water and placed it on the bedside table.

as he was about to walk away, he felt a hand grip his wrist and pull him down onto the bed.

Minseok wrapped his arms around the younger boy.

"Imagine if Luhan knew this was happening." Minseok said groggily. Jongdae couldn't help but soon over this boys morning voice.

"It's his fault this is happening." Minseok said more bitter.

"Minseok, just rest. you're gonna be in pain later. don't stress."

"I'm sorry."

"about what?"

"for forcing you."

"I could've tried harder to get away."

"so you wanted it?"

"listen, Minseok. 5 years ago, I wanted to make you mine. 4 years ago, I still wanted you. 3 years ago, I was bitter about you leaving. 2 years ago, I hated myself. 1 year ago, I forgot what I truly felt for you. and two days ago, I remembered exactly why I fell for you 5 years ago." Jongdae explained.

"why was I so blind? it's always been you, Jongdae. I always wanted you when I had Luhan. and I've never wanted you more."

"what are you going to do about Luhan?"

"keep cheating."

"oh"

"is there an issue?"

"I don't want to be a home wrecker."

"this Sehun guy was a home wrecker first."

Jongdae understood what Minseok was saying. but he didn't want to be on Luhan's bad side. and he didn't want to throw Sehun under the bus right away. well, in Sehun's defence, he wasn't uninformed of circumstances.

"we need to get you to your moms house." Minseok said, attempting to get up but Jongdae stopped him. Jongdae stood up next to the bed and held the ice pack to the latters forehead. he slowly helped him sit up, but Minseok groaned in pain.

"I told you that you were drunk."

"oh, shut up. I knew I was drunk."

Jongdae ran the fingers of his free hand in the elders soft hair.

"I didn't hurt you yesterday, right?" Minseok asked.

"it's fine."

"oh god, I'm so stupid. that wasn't your first time right?"

"well-"

"shit. I'm so sorry, Jongdae. I didn't mean to hurt you. are you okay? now I'm concerned. you're not hurt? God dammit, I should've just sto-"

Jongdae cut off the rambling boy by placing his lips against his.

and then, as if it was destiny, both of their hearts melted.

"alright, let's get you up. I'll drive on the way there. you can drive back alright?" Jongdae questioned.

"yeah, I'll be fine by then." Minseok said, getting up with Jongdae's assistance.

they walked out the door of the hotel room after getting fully dressed again and checked out.

once they got to Minseok's car, Jongdae got in the drivers seat.

"is it bad that I haven't driven a car in years?"

Minseok's eyes began to looked scared.

"what?!"

"don't worry, I have my license so technically I can drive." Jongdae smiled.

"oh dear Lord.." Minseok whined, hiding his face in his palms.

Jongdae drove off in the direction of his moms house, handing his phone to Minseok so he could inform his mother that he would be there soon.

Minseok clicked on Jongdae's contact for his mom and waited for a response.

"hello, this is Minseok, one of Jongdae's...friends. I was able to bring him to your home and he'll be there in a about and hour." Minseok said as he answered.

his mom thanked him because she was unable to pick him up again and he'd be there for another day if he didn't get him.

Jongdae couldn't help but think about the actions that happened the night before. the fact that Minseok didn't remember if he pained Jongdae frightened him. it also made him feel uneasy and guilty that Minseok would continue to cheat on his husband for him.

that was wrong, right?

but Jongdae felt something so right in doing something so wrong.

and it was totally worth it.
