Jongdae woke up in an empty bed with a sticky note stuck to his forehead.

He pulled it off his skin, reading the sloppy writing.

"I had to go to work. I'm coming back around 5. Don't have too much fun without me:)"

Jongdae smiled and got out of bed.

He heard a phone ringing next to the bed.

Curiously, he walked around and picked it up. It was Minseok's phone.

Jongdae answered the call, not looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?" He answered.

"This isn't Minseok... Is this Jongdae?" He heard the voice ask.

"Yes? Did you need Minseok for anything or can I take a message?" He questioned.

He had never heard this voice before.

"Um tell him to call me back when he can. Thanks Jongdae."

'How did the person know it was me?' He thought. The line went dead, causing Jongdae to exit his mind.

He put the phone on the nightstand and laid back down on the bed.

After surfing through his own phone, he began to feel curious about what Minseok does on his phone.

He picked it up again, unlocking it. He smiled at the background when he saw it was a selfie Minseok took with him while he was asleep. He found it funny that Minseok looked so happy in the photo even though Jongdae was sound asleep.

He went on to his Instagram, seeing someone had mentioned him in a comment.

He clicked on the photo that he was tagged in and gasped.

It was a photo of a rat in a trap and the caption was "@kimminseok78 actual photo of you, rat"

Jongdae was angry. Who could disrespect Minseok like that?

He sighed, exiting out of the app and went to a different app.

Jongdae saw he had a lot of people judging him on twitter too.

'Why didn't Minseok tell me?' He questioned.

He got out of bed, throwing Minseok's phone roughly on the bed. The force of the phone hitting the matress cause it to bounce on to the floor, leaving three cracks in the screen.

He stood there, completely shocked. He just broke Minseok's phone and he didnt have the money to fix it.

He groaned in frustration and picked up the broken black iPhone 6.

He examined the cracks. Minseok would be so mad.

'Why didn't he have a case?!'

He shoved the phone in his pocket. Hopefully Minseok won't ask about it.

Jongdae went to the kitchen and poured a bowl of cereal.

Once he finished eating, he plopped on the couch and turned on the tv, watching whatever drama was on.

Eventually, he ended up falling asleep against the arm rest.

Jomgdae woke up to Minseok smiling down at him.

"Did you have fun?" He asked.

Jongdae stretched, sitting up and pulling Minseok on to his lap.

"Sleeping isn't exactly what I'd call fun but i enjoyed it."

Minseok smiled, sliding off of Jongdae's lap and sotting next to him with his legs still over the top of Jongdae's.

Suddenly, Jongdae's phone started to ring and he took it out of his pocket.

He stood up, leaving Minseok alone on the couch.

"Hello?" He answered.

He heard slight crying on the other end.

"Jongdae..." it was his aunt.

"Whats wrong? Why are you crying?" He asked, concerned.

"Jongin... he.. he passed away last night. They found him today.."

Jongdae froze. How could this happen to him again?

He couldnt believe it. Everyone he cared about is leaving him so early. First it was Yixing, now his favorite cousin.

"H-how did he die?" Jongdae questioned.

As soon as Minseok heard the word die, he jumped up and ran to Jongdae, wrapping his arms around him from behind.

"He was murdered. They dont know who did it yet. I just knew how close you guys were. The funeral is most likely going to be next week" his aunt cried.

He started to tear up until it turned into a sob.

"Stay safe. I love you." He said and hung up.

He instantly threw his phone across the room and turned to Minseok. He wrapped his arms around his neck, crying into his shoulder. Minseok rubber the small of his back, trying to soothe him.

"Im sorry. Who passed?" Minseok whispered to Jongdae.

"My cousin Jongin." Jongdae said, muffled by Minseok's shirt.

"Jongin? Like, Kim Jongin?" Minseok's voice cracked.

Jongdae nodded, pulling back to look at Minseok.

"Do you know him?" He asked.

Minseok nodded.

"Hes my coworker." Minseok answered.

Minseok didnt cry. He never particularly liked Jongin that much, but they were still friends.

Minseok pulled Jongdae close to him again, letting Jongdae let out his tears.

"Its okay. Baby, dont cry. Dont cry. Im sure theyll find whoever did this."

Jongdae nodded, pulling back to plop on the couch again.

Minseoks heart broke at the sight of his non-official boyfriend so hurt.

He walked over, kissing Jongdae on the lips and leaving to the kitchen to cook them dinner.

Once they ate the instant ramen Minseok made, Jongdae was exhausted.

"Oh wait.. where's my phone? I haven't had it all day." Minseok asked.

Jongdae froze, reaching into his pocket to find Minseok's broken phone.

Jongdae shamefully handed over the phone and Minseok took it, not even mentioning the cracks he could see right away.

"Im sorry" Jongdae said.

Minseok didnt mind the cracks.

"For what?" He played dumb.

"Never mind...".

Minseok kissed Jongdae's nose, pulling him to their bedroom to sleep that night off.
