Dear Friend,

Have you read, Come Little Children by Edgar Allan Poe?  Well if not i think he's a genius.  It's probably my favourite poem of all time.  When I was little I thought it was about a beautiful princess taking away the children who have suffered so much pain and leading them to a garden of happiness.  I showed the poem to Anna in an email but she saw it very differently then I did.

Edgar Allan Poe

Come little children

I'll take thee away, into a land

of Enchantment

Come little children

the time's come to play

here in my garden

of Shadows

Follow sweet children

I'll show thee the way

through all the pain and

the Sorrows

Weep not poor children

for life is this way

murdering beauty and

Passions

Hush now dear children

it must be this way

to weary of life and

Deceptions

Rest now my children

for soon we'll away

into the calm and

the Quiet

Come little children

I'll take thee away, into a land

of Enchantment

Come little children

the time's come to play

here in my garden

of Shadows

I still like to think of it as the children are being taken away into a wonderful land where there is no pain.  When I was younger I would dream of this poem.  In my dreams i would fallow a beautiful voice through a creepy forest.  I knew that when I found her I wouldn't have to suffer anymore.  I would be able to play in her wonderful garden.  But sadly no matter how long I fallow the women's voice i never get to her.  I never find the princess.  Maybe it's just a sign.  A sign that there is no escape.

     Love always,

     Daniel
