Chapter 8

A/N I'm back guys and once again I want to apologise for stopping this story. Here's the long waited for chapter 8.

Percy's POV 

His worry for Nico was growing by the minute. As Percy and Jason helped the younger boy out of the forest he begins to notice how pale and unwell Nico has become. Blacks circles surround his dark brown eyes, that are covered by his raven black bangs. His skin is paler than when they'd met so many years ago, a deathly white. He shouldn't be this unwell not after only 6 months. 

Percy suddenly stops, stopping both of the boys beside him. "Neeks I need to ask you something, alright when did all this start?" 

Nico glances up at Percy, his broken eyes locking with the older boyd. "S-since B-b-bianca. Bu-but i-it's been w-wor-worse since the w-w-w-war."

Percy nods before continuing to lead Nico towards the infirmary. It makes sense. He lost his sister which was obviously going to be hard on him. Yet Percy just wishes he had known before, that he had seen the signs and could have helped him before it got this bad. 

Nico abruptly stops, his legs buckling beneath him. They'd reached the sword fighting arena by now and had been noticed by a few winter campers. Both Jason and Percy drop beside the now shaking, younger boy, their eyes meeting and sharing a worried glance. 

"Neeks speak to me, what's wrong?" Percy asks the worry seeping through his words unintentionally.

Nico just lifts a shaking arm and points in the direction of the Big House. Percy follows the trembling arm, making out a figure marching towards them with anger in her hazel eyes. 

"Neeks calm down, it's going to be okay. Nothing is going to happen to you, just take a deep breath for me." Percy soothes, softly rubbing Nico's hand in an attempt to calm him. 

Hazel has approached them, anger flashing through her eyes. These eyes meet with dark brown, making their owners breathing begin to quicken once again, the look in these eyes scaring them. Noticing this Percy starts to defend the panicking boy beside him. 

"Stop. You're scaring him, just calm down and explain to us what's wrong." Percy tries to reason, while trying to calm the child of Hades as well. 

"What's wrong is that I get told noting! Why didn't you tell me Nico??!!!??" Hazel begins to shout ignoring Percy's earlier protests. 

Unable to answer his half sister Nico cowers behind Percy's strong body, using him as a shield against the child of Pluto. In any other circumstance Percy would have have probably smirked or made some kind of sassy remark, but instead this action infuriates him more. 

Can't you see how badly you're scaring your own brother?? Maybe he  didn't tell you because he was scared you would react like this!" Percy says raising his voice slightly. 

Without having to turn around he knows that Nico had flinched, his scowl turning into a frown as he feels Nico inching slowly towards the only other person willing to protect him. Jason. 

"Look who's scaring him now." Hazel mutters smugly, smirking to herself.

Ignoring her Percy turns towards the petrified (A/N No he has not looked at the reflection of a Basilisk and the chamber has not been opened!!! This is Pecy Jackson not Harry Potter Sirius-ly guys...) boy now recoiling behind the blonde haired boy of Jupiter. Nico. I didn't mean to scare you Neeks, I'm sorry." 

Percy feels tears welling up in his eyes as Nico hugs onto Jason tightly from behind, trying to hide his shaking figure and regulate his breathing. The sea green eyed boy can only watch helplessly while Jason tries to talk to the pale boy behind him. 

"Nico calm down okay. Percy wasn't getting angry at you he was angry at your sister. He would never get angry or hurt you Neeks." Jason explains softly, slowly pulling away from the son of Hades.  

Unsure of what to do Nico keeps his gaze on the grass beneath him. Slowly Percy reaches out a hand towards Nico and goes to help him to his feet. Grasping Percy's hand with one of his own trembling ones Nico rises, Percy standing protectively beside him.

"We need to get t the infirmary Hazel." Jason explains trying to get past the angry daughter of Pluto. 

"Ugghhh how many people do I have to tell?! My nme isn't Hazel!!" the 'not-Hazel' shouts stomping her foot in frustration. 

Now their worry was for both children of the god downstairs. Percy and jason sahre a familiar worried glance while Nico watches his sister, anxiety and panic growing. 

"W-why do-doesn't s-sh-she know w-who she i-i-is?" he stammers turning to Percy, hping for a reasonable answer. 

"I...I don't know Neeks but it's alright. Lets bring her with us to Chiron and have him and Solace try and figure out what's wrong. It's gonna be okay Nico." Percy comforts slowly wrapping an arm around the son of Hades waist in a side-ways hug. 

"We're gonna got to the infirmary now so if you want to keep asking questions why don't-" Percy begins only to be distracted by an approaching figure, running towards them while shouting. Loudly.

"Hey Percy, Nico, Jason there's something wrong with Hazel." Frank shouts, stooping once meeting Hazel's eyes. 

"Uh yeah we can see that Frank!" Jason groans face palming himself.

Frank joins them rubbing the back of his neck in a nervous manner. "Oh umm...hi Roxy." 

All of the Greek Big Three children share confused looks, Nico's showing the most worry. 

"F-Frank w-wh-what d-do you m-mea-mean?" Nico asks stuttering over his words, his voice was laced with worry and his hands begin to shake even more. 

Noticing this Percy wraps his arm tighter around Nico's waist trying to calm him down. "Hey Neeks, calm down, take a deep breath and let it out slowly. Everything is going to be fine."

Frank watches Nico a worried look on his face before answering his question. "I came into the Hades cabin to tell her about Leo and she was throwing stuff around and screaming. I asked what was wrong and she started shouting at me, how her name isn't Hazel and that Nico is being an idiot. Then she just ran out and I've been looking for her since."

Percy nods, answering for a still panicking Nico. 

"Okay well Roxy would you mind walking with us to the infirmary?" Percy calmly asks 'Roxy' trying to not to aggravate her anymore. 

"Why should I?"Haze smirks placing her hands on her hips.

Once again Jason face palms. 'It's as if he likes hitting himself in the head more than he likes bricks hitting him in the head.' A smile forms on Percy's face, laughter erupting from his throat. 

"Oi Jackson focus on the problem at hand please!" Jason says annoyance on his face as he hits the son of Poseidon lightly on the arm.

"Okay Roxy lets try this differently shall we, you are coming to the infirmary with us." Percy states motioning for Jason and Frank to grab her arms.

Hazel/Roxy tries to struggle against their grip, shouting insults towards the four boys. Nico flinches at his sisters harsh words, burying his face further into Percy's chest.  Finally they manage to get Hazel under control and they finish their walk to the infirmary, Frank and Jason holding onto Hazel and Percy with a tight protective arm around a still shaking Nico.  

"Ahh Jason you've found Nico and Percy I gather you helped. Um.....Jason could you please explain to me why you and Frank have a hold of Miss Hazel Levesque?" Chiron announces walking down the steps of the Big House. 

"MY NAME IS NOT HAZEL!!!!!!!!"

Sorry it's taken me so long to upload guys, my rabbit died last week and its been hard to find motivation.
