Clary was standing on the balcony of her house. It had been 5 years since the battle against Sebastian. Clary and Jace hadn't aged a day, perks of being angels. Clary's wings cast dark shadows on the house. She heard laughter coming from the training room. Clary smiled and rolled her eyes. She made her way to the room where she found her husband Jace and their two kids wrestling on the floor. They were laughing and rolling around on the mats. Their youngest, Jocelyn, was on the ground laughing hysterically as her dad tickled her. Their son, Stephan, was on Jace's back; laying amongst his fathers wings. Jace had a huge smile on his face and was laughing along with them.
"Ahem!" said Clary smiling. "I thought you were supposed to be training."
Jace stood up and smiled at her. Their two kids ran out the room laughing.
"You better run!" yelled Jace. "This isn't over."
Clary walked over to Jace and he wrapped his arms around her waist, as hers went around his neck. She still felt tingles go up her arm when he touched her. They kissed and Clary got all giddy inside. She pulled away and smiled.
"Jace what do we do?" Clary asked. Jace sighed and kissed her forehead.
"This again?" he asked smiling brightly at her troubles.
"Yes!" she said. Clary began clinging to him.
"What do we do when are kids walk in the house and.. and there the same age as us? When do we tall them about us being angels? Valentine? And.. And...-"
"Clary." he sighed and kissed her forehead. She felt his lips brush her head with a soft lightness. Like feathers.
"When the time is right well tell them. But for now," he picked Clary up bridal style. "we have more important things to do." He grinned at me. And then, Jace carried me off to forever.
