"Why won't she answer?" I asked myself somewhat annoyed but now-semi worried. Charlotte hadn't answered any of my calls, texts, or e-mails for 3 days. She always answered her phone for me, and usually answered my texts and e-mails too. But nothing like this has happened since she left last year when she went to Oxford University in London, England. I was in my second semester at BYU and she was likewise but in Oxford. Anyways, I was really worried now. You see, before we went off to college and before we were engaged we uhm...took down a secret agency that my grandfather started that was trying to control the world and so...we made some very bad people...angry. If this hadn't happened I wouldn't be worried but...

My cell-phone rang. I sighed in relief when I saw she was calling. I answered, "Charlotte! What happened? Where have you been?", the words flew out of mouth at a million miles per hour. But I nearly dropped the phone when someone else spoke, not Charlotte, some other woman who I didn't know. "Hi, um...Josh? Right?" She said. "Y-yes. W-where's Charlotte?" I answered. She gasped, "I was hoping you knew. We haven't seen her for three days. She went out to the store to pick-up from groceries and she...she never came back." The lady said. "No. No. You're kidding right? You've got to be! She can't-no! Wh-I...who are you?" I stammered. "Oh, sorry, my name is Karina, I'm Charlottes roommate. I'm going to call the police, okay?" She replied. "No! Wait! I'll do it, trust me. Thank you. If you could find the next plane from Salt Lake to London and call me back that would be great, thank you!" I said, I guess that was rude but...It didn't matter now. I hung-up on her and dialed 9-1-1 into my phone.
