"Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth"
ADULTHOOD (Early Stage): IT IS THE AGE WHEN A CHILD GROWS UP FULLY. HE BECOMES MATURE AND SENSIBLE , HE CAN SEE THE THINGS FOR WHAT THEY ARE. HE BECOMES RESPONSIBLE. THE IMMATURITY IS REPLACED WITH SERIOUSNESS AND AMBITION TO ACHIEVE NAME AND FAME.
BEING ADULT IS NOT ONLY ACHIEVING THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN BUT WITH IT COMES RESPONSIBILITY AND MANY OTHER DUTIES. IT IS A VERY CRUCIAL STAGE IN ONE'S LIFE, ONE WRONG DECISION AND EVERYTHING IS RUINED.
Amidst the chilly winds of late December, a girl in her early twenties sat in her balcony. The cold wind whipped harshly against her skin but one would hardly know if it had any effect on her or not as she sat there, still as a statue.
It was clear because of her stance that she was deep in thoughts, so deep that she didn't even hear her teen sister talking to her. It was not until that the teen shook her that she noticed her sister's presence.
"So, what do you think?"
"Umm..."
The teen looks blankly at her sister and then said "You didn't hear a single word I said, did you?"
Instead of replying the elder girl just shrugged and went back to her dreamland. Her sister stared at her for full ten seconds before turned to leave muttering incoherent words. The frustrated teen on her way banged the door which brought the young female out of her thoughts and in the harsh realities of life.
Now a days the young girl was so lost that it was rather a hard task to get her toanswer even a simple question. On would think what could be the reason behind it? Well the answer to that question is very simple yet very complicated.
'Marriage' well arranged marriage to be precise. But it was not the thought of marriage that disturbed the young girl and it was also not the fact it was arranged marriage. She didn't have any problems with arrange marriage, her Parents marriage was also arranged and it was common in her family. Most if not all of her family members had arranged marriage. And if you are thinking that she had a boyfriend who she wanted to be married to instead of a stranger; then again you are wrong as she had never been in a relationship, not even once in her whole Twenty three years of life.
The very reason for her gloomy behavior was the fact that her father didn't even let her share her views on the aspect, he didn't even ask her what she wanted. Well he did ask, but it was in such a twisted way that you'll have no choice but to submit to his wishes.
The girl was sullen because she wanted to stand on her own two feet without her father or her supposedly husband to support. She wanted to support herself well before she was asked to be responsible for a whole family, a very different family than her own.
