CHAPTER 7: NEW HOME

The reception ended as well as the little party in the mansion. Mom and dad bade their goodbye's to me. Gusto kong sumama sa kanila pero hindi na pwede. It's tearing my heart seeing them leave without me. Im all alone in the table while Jinian's still busy talking to his grandfather. Mr. Yu-his grandfather came in the reception to greet us. I decided to let myself enjoy this so called wedding by drinking all of the wines in the table. This is my first time drinking alcohol so its kinda new to me. Nakakatawa lang talaga. I never see this coming! I didnt know I have emptied all of the five bottles of wine and now Im drinking another pour of the last bottle of wine here in the table. Ayun lang. Naubos ko ata lahat at ang bigat na ng talukap ng mga mata ko. Gusto ko ng matulog at magpahinga. Umiikot na paningin ko.

" Shit! Who the hell served wine here in our table?! "- Jinian

Ba't ang ingay? Sino ba yung sumisigaw? Umiikot na mundo ko di ko na makita yung mga umattend ng party. Ilang beses kong tinangkang titigan siya ng matagal pero hindi ko pa rin makilala. Sobrang gulo ng paligid ko. Paikot2 lang.

" We're going home now. I'll let you rest in our room. "- Jinian

In our room? Teka sino ba to? Uuwi na dw kami? Ang saya naman! Makikita ko na sila daddy ulit!

" Yes please! Take me home! "- Shenise

Someone's carrying me. It feels so comfy. Ang bango! The scent's kinda addicting! Yung tipong hahanap hanapin mo.

" Tsk. Next time, you're not allowed to drink alcoholic liqours without my permission! " - Jinian

I could smell his scent. I could feel my nose just bump into his neck. I think Im going to be addicted to his scent.

" Aye! Aye! Captain! (laugh) "- Shenise

He gulped. I could feel he stiffened. What might be the problem?

" Ang bango mo naman. (chuckles) "- Shenise

" Keep quiet or else I'll punish you. "- Jinian

Jinian's trying his best to calm down. He's been bothered. He dont want someone trigger his patience.**

" Like whaaat? (chuckles) "- Shenise

" You wont like it so you better shut up now. "- Jinian

He's hardly breathing. Pakiramdam niya isang push na lang puputok na siya.**

" Hey, Im curious. Just tell me. "- Shenise

" Stop testing my patience wife! "- Jinian

" Wife? Im not your wife. "- Shenise

" Stop. "- Jinian

" Marry me first! "- Shenise

He chuckles. Second time I heard him laugh. This time yung uri ng tawa na masaya. Yung unang beses nakakatakot eh. Tao naman pala tong kasama ko akala ko from another planet.

" I just married you, silly! "- Jinian

" Oh okay. Can we sleep now? "-Shenise

" Yes wife. Just wait. "- Jinian

Tumahimik naman si Shenise hanggang sa marating ni Jinian ang bahay nila. Katabi lang kasi ito ng mansion ng mga Yu. Dinala niya si Shenise sa kwarto nila at dahan dahang nilagay sa kama. Kumalma siya nang makitang mahimbing na itong natutulog. He let her sleep and then left.

EARLY MORNING*

Bigla akong nagising. Dahan dahan akong bumangon at kinusot kusot ang mga mata. Its dim in the room. Hindi ko alam kung nasaan ako. Its not my room. Ramdam ko kung nasa kwarto ko ako kasi hindi ako magigising sa gitna ng tulog ko. I look around and realization hit me. Agad kong tiningnan ang suot ko. I wasnt wearing my wedding dress anymore. Im in my pj's. Sinong? Maybe Emelda's team or ... No! The thought of him undressing me sent shiver to my spine. Kasal na nga pala ako. Im in our own house right now. P-pero where is he? Parang ang tahimik ng buong bahay. It looks empty and lonely. Ang lungkot tumira dito. Dahan2 akong tumayo at lumabas sa kwarto. Tama nga ako, ako lang mag isa sa bahay na to. Everything's black and white. Upon checking the wall clock. It's 3:15 am in the morning! I went to the kitchen and search something to drink. A hot choco maybe. Buti na lang may mga kagamitan na agad sa bahay. We're newly wed at iniwan niya ako dito mag-isa. I think Im the loneliest bride in the world. Marriage seems a punishment of whatever I commited wrong. Im just sipping my cup of hot choco when I heard the entrance door opened. Someone's coming. He appeared infront of me. He's a bit sleepy but still his charms are overflowing.
