CHAPTER 3: Crush
"Oh my god! Ok you have to do it! Ok and then you have to tell me all of the horrible things that Bucky says!" Natasha exclaimed while we were in girls bathroom. She said no one was in there, so I followed her.
"Bucky seems...sweet," I said.
"Bucky Barnes is not sweet! He's an asshole, he ruined my life!" she yelled, then I saw Wade come out of one of the stalls.
"He's hot, but he's evil," he said and a girl at the sink gave him a confused look.
"Hey! Get out of here!" she exclaimed.
"Oh my god! Danny DeVito I love your work!" Wade said holding his arms out.
"Why do you hate him?" I asked Natasha.
"What do you mean?"
"Bucky, you seem to really hate him," I said and she sighed.
"Yes, what's your question?"
"Well my question is, why?"
Wade then cut in, "Bucky started this rumor that Nat was a dy-
"Wade! Shall we not!" she exclaimed.
Nat then looked at me, "Now look, this isn't about hating him. Ok, I just think it would be like a fun little experiment if you were to hang out with them and tell us everything that they say," she said and I was still a little unsure about this, but if I wanted to keep this friendship going I had to do it.
"What do we even talk about?" I asked. I'm not familiar with things teenagers talk about these days, especially in the U.S.
"Sports!" Nat exclaimed.
"Ryan Reynolds!" Wade said and I looked at him confused.
"Is that a band?" I asked and he sighed. I guess not...
"Ok, just do it! Please," Nat begged and I nodded.
"Ok fine, do you have a leather jacket?"
"No-
"Yes!" Wade said and I looked at him.

By 8th period I was so happy to get to math class, I mean I'm good at math, I understand math, and nothing could mess me up. That is, until the brunette that sits in front of me turned around to face me. He's never spoken to me once, and I was not expecting to see such beauty. He had large hone-brown eyes, soft brown hair, and a clean shaven face that I just know would feel smooth on my fingertips.
"Hey, do you have a pencil I could borrow?" he asked, his voice was soothing, and I couldn't help but stare. He smirked at me, and I blushed.
I only had one other crush, his name was Naphume and we were 5. It didn't work out...But this one hit me like a big yellow school bus.
I handed him my pencil, not realizing I gave him my only one.
"Steve, what do you say-
He was...
"So cute," I said then realized I said it out loud and everyone turned to look at me.
"I mean, A sub N equals N plus 1 over 4," I told Ms. Hill and she smiled.
"That's right, that's good, very good...now let's talk about your homework," she said and I zoned out again thinking about Tony. The way he smiled at me made it seem like he was interested, but maybe he was being friendly.
The day was finally over and I went home to see my parents on the porch again.
"Hey! How was your second day?"
"Fine," I replied with a small smile.
"Were people nice?" my mom asked
"No," I replied bluntly.
"Did you make any friends?" Dad asked and I smiled.
"Yeah," I walked inside then went upstairs to do homework.
Tomorrow was Wednesday, and Wade was going to give me his leather jacket before class.
