In my opinion Buffy the vampire slayer has more love in it than twilight does. Twilight is about obsession, not love. Bella must be near Edward at all times and they never doubt their love for each other. Now some of you might say that when Bella kissed Jacob she was doubting her love for Edward, but that's not the case. What she feels toward Jacob is not love it's friendship. She still cares about him, but she is not in love with him. She kissed him to try to stop him from killing himself (which he was never going to actually do) Bella saw this as helping a friend, not showing affection to a lover. Now in Buffy she did love angel, but she valued her friends and families life more than she valued his. Which is why she stabbed him with a sword. Riley was very much in love with Buffy, but as much as she liked him, she never loved him. Spike fell in love with Buffy. Yet they would still get into fights. Not arguments, actual fist fights. See as much as he loved her, he wasn't worried about her safety because he knew she could take care of herself. He would help her in fights, but when they were fighting each other, he wasn't worried. He was not going to kill her and she was not going to kill him. Now in the end he sacrificed himself knowing his love would always be with her. He knew even though it would hurt her she would stay strong and never forget him. Can you see a difference? In Twilight Bella and Edward would never fight. Edward treated Bella like glass. Now in new moon we see Edward trying to make Bellas life better by leaving, but then Bella went and tried to kill herself to hear his voice again. See what I mean, that is obsession.
