This chapter is the awakening. The meaning and some of the inspiration behind my songs and the way I act as a person. The starting grounds of my first 2 lyrics "Summer Paradise" and "Guardian Angel" my world widened. I remember when I was younger and was living at this one house and I ordered pizza. Before my eyes across the street I saw the house right in front of me get gang banged. They held chains and knives. The innocent family was frightened..who wouldn't be. One person was involved in a gang over across the street. I'm supposing.. I didn't know them and nor talk to them. I was just thinking in my mind..that those chains they were holding held them down. As in bearing their own heart down from what they've been through. A couple years after the movie called "The Freedom Writers" came out. If you haven't I strongly suggest it. It changed my life. It truly grasps the meaning of family and to have respect for each other. At the end they wrote their own stories from their life and it became that very movie. Incredible things happened in that movie. So no matter who you are you can do anything and no matter what you're never alone. That's why I want to reach out to people wherever I go. Some people in gangs just feel like they're not accepted. This is a very strong topic. I used this because it was a great example of how I use my words when I write my lyrics. Things I've seen impact me completely..there is so much more that I've seen. I don't do music to just say I do it. I do this because I love it..I could help people..and these very words could possibly change a persons life. I'm no where near perfect, but I try. With whatever you want to do. Just try.
