CHAPTER 5: Movie night with fam

Madisons p.o.v(point of view)

I finally finish my homework and it only took me 10 minutes. Go me I am da queen. I walk downstairs and see the guys shirtless about to grab shirts and put them on. Oh my gosh they have abs. I think I am gonna faint. Even hayes and he's 14!!

Cam- well I'll be sure to catch you if you do.

Crap I said that out loud! My face turns red and the boys laugh including Hayes. I run back upstairs to change because I was cold. I put on a Nike sweatshirt and some Hollister sweat pants. I re do my french braid and put on a nike head band. I put on new socks that are purple and go back downstairs.

Cam- Mads what movie do you wanna watch?

Hayes- Lets watch a scary movie!!

All the guys yell and scream yes. Cam looks at me with a concerned look but I give him a thumbs up. I have to be brave I'm 14 almost turning 15 in a week which is the same day my parents died. I remember that night like it was yesterday.

~flashback~

Honey we will be back in a little bit. Have fun with Cam. My parents walk out the door to go on their date. Cam and I have been watching tv and talking for the last 4 hours. I wonder where they are? I turn on the tv and the news was on.

New reporter- Recently two dead bodies were found under a bridge in the water. They had seem to have been murdered by a stabbing to the chest. There names were recognized to be Helen Dallas and  John Dallas.(tv shows a picture of them)

My heart sinks. I turn off the tv and sit there. I scream then start balling. Cam runs downstairs.

Cam- whats wrong Madison!!

I turn on the tv and he watches is. He turns it off and throws the remote at the wall. I jump a little but then I start crying. He comes and hugs me and comforts me. This will be a day I will never forget.

~flashback ends~

I stand there with no expression on my face.

Cam- Madison are you okay?

I wiggle my head and nod. I sit down next to Cam and whisper in his ear.

Me- I had another flashback.

He looks at me with a sad face and hugs me.

Matt- Lets watch the conjuring!

the boys shout and turn it on. I cuddle into Cams chest scared of whats gonna happen in the movie.

50 minutes into the movie

I am legit about to scream. Another jump scare came out and I screamed and ran off. I was too busy thinking about my parents still and watching a scary movie wasn't helping. I heard a knock on my door. Come in I say. Hayes walks in all confused.

Hayes- are you okay?

Me- Yup

He gives me an eyebrow lift because he knows I'm lying.

Me- fine, I was thinking about my parents and It made it scarier because of the movie and I just couldn't I'm sorry I ruined it. Just go jeep watching it with everyone else.

Hayes- Heck no, I'm not gonna let you sit here alone thats not what friends do.

He sits on my bed and hugs me. I hug him back and it felt nice to have a guy as a friend for once.

Me- I think Im gonna just go to sleep. Thank you for checking on me. Good night hayes.

Hayes- Im here for you whenever.

Hayes leaves the room. I lay down and think about my life and how its like a bumpy roller coaster. I start to get tired so I fall asleep.
