"April wake up..." I recognize the voice, Jesse. Is he okay? I frantically open my eyes to see a perfect Jesse. Was that all a bad dream? Did Cameron not actually hurt Jesse? I'm so releived!

"Are you okay?" Another voice asks me, Cameron. "You were screaming in your sleep, almost broke my ear drums" he laughs which causes me to giggle, too but Jesse gives the both of us a stern look.

"Not funny you two, April has just been really badly hurt".

"Oh lighten up Jesse" Cameron says giving a friendly shove.

I was surprised at their friendliness towards each other. "You two friends now?".

"We're allies, not friends. I can't be friends with my sisters boyfriend as I'll need to beat him up when he breaks you heart, that's what older brothers are good for" he says jokingly, giving me a smile. I go bright red at ten word 'boyfriend', Cameron does too.

"He is so not my boyfriend!" We both say this in unison and I blush madly again, how embarrassing does this have to be.

"Whatever you two, it's not like you two were practically making out the other night"

"How'd you know about that!"

"I have my secrets" I give him a shove and a giggle. I see the bright purple bruise on the side of his face. Ouch.

"Hey, I'm sorry April about the way I've treated you. I shouldn't have lost my temper, you should be able to date whoever you like. Luckily, Bubbles here stopped me from hurting you, good idea even though I did get knocked out" I was so touched by his apology but I couldn't hold my giggles in because of Cameron's new nickname 'Bubbles'.

"Stop calling me that!" Cameron whined like a little baby.

"Whatever" Jesse sticks his tongue out and blows a raspberry in Cameron's face. It was so funny to watch those to tease each other, it was like they were long lost brothers.

"Okay you two, break it up. I need some sleep" as if on cue, I stifle a big, wide yawn and my head lands on my pillow.

"Okay, night squirt"

"Night April"

I hear the two of them exit while still bickering on about random things. I fell asleep happy with all that's happened, finally, Jesse is happy, Cameron is happy and I am happy. That's all I want (not to mention Bethany).
