"You're really pretty," Audrey said as she sat down on the blanket next to Nova. The taller of the two had opened her laptop and a movie was playing, but they didn't pay much attention. Nova was in the middle of shoving pie into her mouth, so when thanked her date, it sounded very weird. "And very classy, obviously."
"Obviously," Nova agreed and laughed. "You're really pretty, too, you know. But I'm going to ruin that by suggesting that we run into the water because I'm really warm and I want to actually use this bikini. I might have stolen it from Sophie."
And so they ran, or more like Nova pulled Audrey out into the water. If they ended up making out underwater, then no one had to know.
Except for maybe Brooke because she was the captain of that damn ship.
