nova: i know that something isn't right

nova: you would never miss school for a week just for my birthday, soph

nova: what's going on?

soph: i told the head master to go fuck himself when he didn't expell those girls, and that got me expelled. my parents are trying to find another boarding school, but it's in the middle of the term so it won't be easy

nova: but you're the smartest person i've ever met, why would it be hard?

nova: and does it have to be a boarding school?

soph: because living with maria and my parents just doesn't work out, i love them to bits and pieces, but it just doesn't work out

soph: and well, they are trying to find one closer to home now. apparently they want me to be able to come home on the weekends, which i don't want

nova: i would ask if you could live and go to school here, but we both know that your parents wouldn't allow that

soph: true

nova: ask if you can live with your aunt, that one you said is your favorite relative

soph: oh my god nova why don't i have more people like you

soph: you're a genius

nova: i'm pretty sure that you're the genius, but thanks

soph: i gotta call my ma, i'll come to your house later and you'll show me lakewood okay great

nova: i still don't understand why you're staying with brooke
