We finish about a box and a half of cereal and packed our stuff back up before starting our walk, again. I grab his hand out of instinct and start to hum.
"Hey, tyler."
"Yeah, Joshua?"
"Will you sing for me again?"
"Only for you." He smiles before squeezing my hand and taking a deep breath,
"I don't know why I feed on emotion
There's a stomach inside my brain
I don't wanna be heard
I want to be listened to
Does it bother anyone else
That someone else has your name?
Does it bother anyone else
That someone else has your name, your name?

I scream, you scream, we all scream
'Cause we're terrified of what's around the corner
We stay in place
'Cause we don't want to lose our lives
So let's think of something better.

Down in the forest
We'll sing a chorus
One that everybody knows
Hands held higher,
We'll be on fire
Singing songs that nobody wrote."

"That was beautiful, Tyler. What's it called?"
He smiles and mumbles, "thank you." Before looking over at me.
"I'm gonna call it Forest."
I nod, "that's a good name."
"Thanks, Joshua."
"Of course, Tyler."
We walk together for a couple more miles before we stop in front of an abnormally large evergreen tree.
"We should climb it..." Tyler whispers.
"Yeah? Let's do it."
He grins and runs towards the tree and i follow after him.
We get about thirty branches up before we stop.
