Going Insane

Visitors Day

              Morning comes way too fast for my liking. Maya and I get up and shower. We dress up a little bit more now that we have boyfriends and that today is visitor’s day…I wonder who will come and see me? I hope its Lexi or Sapphire. Whoever comes for me gets to stay with me all day, starting after group today, right before lunch.

                Maya and I walk to the crapateria and see Zeke looking super excited and Anthony looking very annoyed. I think Zeke is the cause of Anthony’s problems this morning. Maybe it has to do with his outburst yesterday, like maybe a lot of people are asking him questions about it. “Hi Anthony! Hi Zeke! What’s up with you two?” Anthony looks up and sighs but Zeke grabs my arm and screams in my ear before Anthony can even begin to talk or sign.

                “We get to go on a field trip today in class tomorrow to the big park a couple blocks from here if we start a science experiment today that will take us all of school. We work in groups of four to make hot air balloons! I want to ride in one, too bad it’ll be made out of paper.” He starts jumping up and down. God! Does this kid have ADHD? The Doc needs to look into that if they haven’t.

                “That’s exciting Zeke. Can you calm down a bit so Anthony can talk?” He nods his head and sits down and starts to eat his cereal with like four spoonfuls of sugar, like he needs that.

                “People keep questioning me…..I won’t talk. He can’t calm down today, trust me I even tried to take away the sugar from his breakfast, but he started screaming so I was told to give it back to him.” Seriously people? You had to give Zeke sugar today? “Today’s visitors day, and I know that I won’t get a visitor.” He only whispers loud enough for Maya and me to hear. Zeke’s being too loud to even begin to hear what Anthony said. I bet he already heard most of it in the room.

                “I get a visitor today! My little sisters coming today to see me! She’s about a year younger then you and Zeke! I have a picture if you want to see!” We nod our heads and she pulls out one from her back pack. The girl in the picture is kind of pretty. She and Maya both have the same color hair. “Do you have someone coming to see you today Kylie?”

                “I think either Lexi or Sapphire is coming to see me today. I kinda hope that Lexi will be here but at the same time I don’t want her to yell at me. See after I got diagnosed schizo she told me to stay on my meds, I didn’t listen. She then told me if my symptoms get worse, get back on the meds. I didn’t listen again and ended up in the hospital and then sent here. She didn’t get her anger at me all out before I left. I can already hear her ranting start and she’s not even here.” Anthony and Maya laugh at that and we eat breakfast.

                In class we get told we’re making hot air balloons and the lecture pretty much is the same thing Zeke said but a lot longer and not to the point. The teacher did mention it had to be a certain size and glued together or it won’t fly. She also says that she wants it to be colorful, but not be just random papers glued together.

                The four of us start choosing colors and we pick Purple, Baby Blue, Hot Pink and Black. We do stripes of ten down and twelve around. We are given blow dryers to help dry the glue and we go outside with an extension cord to our blow dryer. We get all of it down and glued before we go to group.
