Going Insane

Too Weird

One month later ~

                “What’s wrong Kylie? You are so not as okay as you’ve been saying you are this past month.” Sapphire sits next to me and rubs my arm and then squeezes it like she usually does. Her mom decided to keep her in so now we are one person short on the outside world.

                “This double relationship thing is getting too weird. I think your right about me being too possessive…Except I’m not possessive over Zeke, like I should be, but over Maya…” I look down and sigh. “What do I do Sapphire? I don’t want to break up with one but I don’t like feeling weird!” She smiles.

                “Now you know how I felt about breaking up with Asher! But he was too clingy! You would probably break up with Zeke, right?” I nod. “Well he has Jake and their happy together and pretty much back to how they were right before Jake’s prank went wrong, he would be fine. Just do it!” I pout.

                “FINE! But if they’re not, YOU FIX IT! And Asher so was not bad in the beginning, what happened in the end? He makes no sense!” She shakes her head and laughs.

                “Just go do it!” I walk out of the room, grab Zeke from his make out spot on the wall and drag him to the EPIC room. He pouts and I sigh. His mood changes from happy to scared.

                “I can’t date two people, it’s just too weird.” He half smiles and hugs me.

                “Well, who do you want? Me or Maya? Either way I will be happy but it’s up to you.”  I hug him back and then pull away, giving him a sadder look.

                “I think I want Maya. I love you, but you’re better off with Jake. He makes you happier than I ever could, always has. Go be happy with him.”

“Go be with Maya! She loves you like Jake loves me. She makes you happier than I’ve ever made you, except on Christmas. You deserve someone more experienced than me. You’ve helped me so much and I don’t think I could ever say thank you enough. I’m sorry that it took all this to figure it all out.”

“I’ll go to her! I’m glad I helped you! I’m sorry it took all this to figure it out too!” I kiss his cheek and walk out to go find my girlfriend.

                “I will always love you Kylie, even if it’s not as my girlfriend….” I walk into the boy’s room and go to Maya. Anthony gets the clue to leave when he looks at my face.

                “What’s wrong Baby?” She wraps her arms tightly around my waist and pulls me in a hug. I wrap my arms around her neck and dig my face into her shoulder. “Did someone make you sad? Did Zeke break up with you? Tell me what’s wrong.” I pull away.

                “I broke up with him.” Maya looks shocked. “I felt too weird being in two relationships and he was a lot happier with Jake then when he was with me. I want to be with you.” I look down sad. What if she doesn’t want that? What if I just screwed myself?

                “I like that Kylie! I just broke up with Anthony too actually, because I felt the same way and he asked me if it would be okay if he asked out Sapphire so he went to go do that. That makes me all yours!” She smiles and kisses my cheek. She grabs my hand and leads me to group. We sit in the circle and Dr. Marks comes in.

                “Recently people have gone to the board of administrators and complained about the safety of my patients, so I am being evaluated by the two men over there. If they think I’m a fit doctor, I can stay.” I smiles at Sapphire and sign thank you. She signs back your welcome. Then Dr. Marks glares at us and we look scared, so the evaluation people take notes.
