He tries to not let it control him-his desire to win.
But he doesn't try hard enough.
It is only a matter of time before he practices TOO much and TOO hard... That he is no longer able to play against Karasuno. That he is no longer able to play volleyball ever again.
Kageyama is angry at Oikawa for overworking himself. Oikawa is angry at himself for not stopping himself. He is angry at himself for making Kageyama upset. He is just so angry.
It is only a matter of time before anger fills him-before anger becomes him.
"I hate" Oikawa whispers to himself, as Kageyama exits the hospital room. To some it would seem that he didn't finish his sentence. In reality he did. Or least his mind, and his heart did. I hate myself for being so stupid.
