"You came!" Eli exclaims as soon as he sees Zion. He throws himself at him almost knocking them both to the ground.
"Eli, you're too tall for this." Zion groans.
"Nu-uh, only two inches."
"You're still taller."
"You're stronger than I am. I knew you would catch me."
Only physically. Zion thinks. He shakes his head to try to rid himself of those thoughts. "I'm going to put you down now."
"NO!" He tightens his arms around Zion's neck.
"Don't scream in my ear." Zion states.
"Sorry. I'm glad you came. I've missed you." He states low enough for Zion to hear.
"Me too."
"Now take me to the boat."
Zion starts walking, "You have two feet you know."
"I know." Eli smiles. "But I love your arms around me." He flirts.
"Eli, leave him alone." Sofia states as soon as she sees them.
"Love, you know that if you say something he'll do it even more." Zane states.
"He's like--" Sofia gets interrupted.
"I'm not doing anything he doesn't want me too." Eli winks.
Zane laughs in response when Zion drops Eli on the deck.
"Mean!" Eli exclaims rubbing his bottom. "These are hard surface sitting areas!"
Zion shrugs. "I was just doing what I wanted."
"I see Eli is up to his usual self." Dante states.
"You lied to me! You said you couldn't make it." Eli says accusingly to Dante.
Dante smiles. "I wanted to surprise you." He says leaning down to kiss Eli.
Eli moves his face to the side and crosses his arms above his chest. "I don't believe you." He says trying to hide his smile. "I'm leaving you for Zion. He doesn't lie to me."
"Aww, Eli don't be like that."
"No, I'm leaving you for him." Eli repeats. "Zion has always been truthful." Eli bites his lip to prevent the smile.
"Eli, baby, don't be like that." Dante says when Eli turns his head to the other side again.
At that someone chuckles, everyone's attention turns to the person. "You are really in love." He tells Dante.
Dante smiles. "I forgot."
"Your attention was taken." He replies.
"You came too." Eli states.
"Everyone else, he is Mike." Dante introduces him. "He is a friend."
"Good to see you again." Sofia says.
Mike's gaze lingers on Zion.
Zion barely greets him before he goes to the other side of the boat. He stands against the railing taking in the view.
There is sadness in his eyes even though he is trying not to show it. Mike thinks.
He does seem like someone who Zion would take an interest in. Zane thinks. Maybe this will work.
