Kairo's P.O.V.
I rushed to my locker in hopes of avoiding Makayla. I quickly put my things away then closed my locker. Out the corner of my left eye I saw the silhouette of someone staring at me. I couldn't make out who it was, which bothered me because whether it's a male or female; they don't mind picking on me.
I held my head down and tried to avoid eye contact with the person and hoped to be unnoticed. That didn't last long because Makayla stuck her foot out in front of me, causing me to trip.
Before I could hit the ground, I felt a pair of strong hands gripped tightly around my waist. I looked up and saw the cute blonde boy from yesterday.
He was cute as hell from across the room, now he's just breathtaking up close. He flashed me a small smile and that's when I came back to reality. I quickly stood up straight and fixed my shirt.
"Thanks...." I mumbled, keeping my head down to avoid eye contact. "No problem... I'm Chris by the way." he held his hand out. I hesitated to shake it. "Kairo...." I mumbled. "Oh like the capital of Egypt?" he asked. I cracked a small smile and nodded my head.
I looked to my right and saw Makayla sending me a death glare. Maaan, if looks could KILL!
I quickly looked away and gathered my books from the floor, Chris knelt down and helped.
"Why you so nervous, ma?" he inquired. Him calling me 'ma' sent chills up my spine. His deep, raspy, yet smooth voice was tantalizing me. "I-I'm not nervous..." I trailed off as I stood up.
Not nervous? Suuuure, says the STUTTERING moron. -___-
He chuckled, handing me the rest of my books. "Well, I'll see you around ma." he said. I slightly nodded then scurried off to 4th hour.

Chris' P.O.V.
I watched Kairo as she hurried off to class. Well, I mainly watched that ass. It set up just right, EVEN in sweats!
I looked over and saw the girl who tripped her glaring at Kairo as she was walking away.
I swear, if looks could kill....
She noticed me looking at her and she turned my way and flashed me a smile. I smiled back just to be polite.
The girl isn't ugly, she just got a fucked up attitude and that shit cancels the hell outta good looks. She was wrong as hell for saying the shit she said yesterday and for tripping her. I didn't witness what started their drama yesterday, but from what I saw today; Kairo sho' ain't the trouble maker.
She walked up to me and placed her hand on my shoulder. "Hi, I'm Makayla." she said seductively, flashing a flirty smile.
This hoe.....
"Wassup..." I mumbled. If she wasn't too busy tryna feel on my chest she would've noticed that: 1.) I damn sho' wasn't interested. and 2.) The 2 minute warning bell rung.
She started to say something but I just ignored her and kept walking. Call me rude but she ain't no saint either. I stopped at my locker for my books then headed to 4th hour.

In the middle of 4th hour, the intercom buzzed and the secretary's voice boomed through the room.
"Ms. Ingram?" the secretary said. "Yes?" replied Ms. Ingram. "Could you please send Christopher Brown to the counselor's office?" "Yes I can." Ms. Ingram nodded towards me and I got up, grabbing my stuff, then heading to the counselor's office.
When I got there, there was a middle aged white woman sitting at her desk, looking down at something. I cleared my throat and she looked up.
"Christopher?" she inquired. "Yes ma'am." She smiled, "Have a seat." I did as she told me.
