My name is Majorette Huston. I know, unique name right? It's literally cheerleader in french. My mom was the 'popular' girl in her time, I guess she wanted me to end up like that too. Anyway, I guess I am kind of pretty and popular, but I read a lot too. I was at least pretty and nice enough to attract the hottest and most popular guy in school. Yepp, that's right! Me, Majorette Huston was liked by the one and only PERCY JACKSON! At least I think so.

As you can see, he's like, extremely hot! I mean drop-dead hot. With sparkly sea-green eyes and wavy dark hair. And those muscles that most girls just want to kiss.(AN/ That was very awkward to write...anyways..moving on) All the girls swoon over him and ask him out, but he always nicely rejects them. Telling them that he has a girlfriend. I just think that he's making up that excuse, so that they would leave him alone. I was one of the few that didn't ask him out and I pretty sure that he's waiting for me to ask him out.

From what Percy tells us about his 'girlfriend' is that she's from Virginia, but moved to San Francisco a few years ago. She supposedly have blond hair with princess curls, with piercing grey eyes that could analyse every move you make. It's obvious that she's fake, I mean, Percy describes her like she's half goddess or something. Ha, probably just wants to make me jealous!

I'm planning on asking Percy out to the movies when school ends. I couldn't wait until he finally says yes and kisses me. Giving me the best kiss ever.

It's time! Time for me to become the happiest girl in the world! AHHHHHHHHHH! I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIM TO SAY YESSSSSSSS! There he is! I start my way towards him, I wasn't his best friend but we were pretty close.

I got closer to Percy. I saw that he was all alone, looking around for someone...probably me of coarse.

"Hey Perce." I tried to sound casual and sexy but I'm not sure how it got out.

"Hey, Maj. Have you seen a blonde girl around here?"

"No why?"

"I'm getting picked up by her."

"Oh, actually, Percy, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to the movies with me."

I don't give him time to respond, knowing he'll say yes. At least after I kiss him. I moved forward to kiss him, but he leans back and tries to get away from me. I must admit it hurt. Was I not pretty enough? Not nice enough?

"I'm so sorry Majorette, but my girlfriend's picking me up, and I love her alot and don't want to cheat on her."

"It's okay," I mumbled, "I understand." It was hard to let it out.

I felt tears falling from my eyes. I really thought he loved me. I heard a shout of joy and saw Percy hug a blonde girl, whom I've see from his pictures. I saw them kiss and I turned away, not being able to continue seeing that sight.

I called my best friend Abby and told her that Percy rejected me. After that day, Percy and I stopped talking, but I was always waiting with open arms, waiting for the day he would break-up with that girl and come running into my arms.

Sadly, that day never came.

AN/  I am truly sorry for not updating!!! please forgive me...i've been very busy since my cousins came over and I have to go back to hell aka school. This was a very short chapter soooo...i will be back with one more chapter for you guys!! Also I will be updating Betrayed By Home asap.
