ALICE'S POV :

Sunday morning found me sprawled across my bed with my phone.

Typical.

Mom is out shopping with her friend, and dad will be back today noon from his business trip so both him and mom will go out on their date night, while Mason had his every weekend boxing classes which means I have the house all to my self. A big empty house and me seems like a good idea, I could just take a long hot bath, read a book. Just do anything that I didn't have time to do in the last long week.

Maybe I can even just do a self-care routine. Pluck my eyebrows, do a hair and face mask. Perfect.

Placing my phone on the nightstand and proceeding to get up to prepare my bath.

Or I can just stay in bed and read online.. No, I can't be that lazy. I am not going to waste my day staying in bed, I'll do my self-care routine but maybe after an hour..

After an hour it is then.

A ping sounded from my phone and I grabbed it, narrowing my eyes at the name on my screen.

ChristopherJ has followed you

Clicking on his name, I got into the account to be confirmed that it is indeed the asshole with gray eyes.

Before I could even think of how he found my account on Instgram I saw that Alison was a mutual friend. The traitor.

Of course, I rejected his Friend request on the Instagram just like I did in the real life. How stupid is he, thinking that I'll just shake his hands and welcome him with open arms and a big smile, and I actually have no idea as into why I dislike him this much, but he was so rude to me and he didn't even apologize! okay, maybe he did.. but it wasn't from the bottom of his heart.

I left early the other day and I didn't even finish my meal cause I was so annoyed of how that asshole got along with my friends.

Something in him is just unsettling, it's not that I am judging. But I've been around guys enough to know an asshole when I see one, and that's that asshole for me.

I am not a person who holds grudges, and he did try and apologize and maybe he was just in a rush that day that he couldn't apologize. Or maybe he was just putting an act infront of my friends..

Oh screw this!

Everybody deserves a second chance, and since he already apologized and is trying to be nice then why not?

I followed the asshole back. The first step to forgive the guy, maybe even start calling him with his name? Nah, that's too soon.

After spending an hour on the phone, I decided it's time for me to get up and start with my plan. Filling the tub was the first thing I did before lighting two vanilla scented candles and placing them beside the tub filled with hot water.

When I was about to get my towel I heard the doorbell. Groaning, I went to open the door but I paused when I heard the voices behind it.

"She might be sleeping.." "Why is she taking so long?"
"I think we should just ge-" I opened the door before Alison could finish her sentence, I was greeted but the scene of Alison, Rachel on my front porch.
