When Sam woke up, Niall's arms were wrapped securely around her.

"Niall, wake up." She tried to wiggle out of his grip, but it was no use. "Niall!"

"Huh? What?" He jolted awake, the white comforter sliding down his bare chest as he sat up.

"I'm hot."

"I know," He smirked at his lovely girlfriend.

"Shut up." She laughed, smacking him with a pillow. "What time is it?"

"Late, probably. I'm starving."

"Of course you are. " Sam smiled at the silly blond Irish boy she loved so much.

"Give me a kiss." He commanded, and he didn't have to tell Sam twice, it was only seconds before Sam's lips met Niall's.

"When do you want to go down to the police station?" Liam asked Taylor as she changed Bentley's diaper.

"Do I have to?" She whined like a child.

"It would be ideal."

"Watch Bentley. I need to change and brush my teeth and then we can go."

"Name?" The receptionist asked.

"Taylor Porter."

"Oh, yes, right this way." The receptionist led the pair into the sherriff's office.

"Taylor, hello! I've been expecting you." He welcomed her as the two took the two seats opposite of the sherriff's desk. "Sign here and I'll get you the key." He slid a release of property form across the mahogany desk before leaving to retrieve the key. "Do you need directions?" He said as he returned, trading Taylor the key for the signed document.

"Yes, please."

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Liam asked Taylor as they stood outside the door of her fathers apartment.

"As ready as I'll ever be." She unlocked the door and pushed herself inside.

The apartment was small, to say the least. A small flat screen sat against the wall across from the couch. A bowl of fruit loops was left on the kitchen counter, the spoiled milk smelling up the whole apartment. A round glass table served as a dining table, paired with two lone chairs. For a moment, Taylor wondered if he had had a girlfriend, but quickly pushed the thought out of her head and began processing what exactly was going on. She picked up a pink and purple picture frame from the small table next to the couch. The frame held a picture of Taylor and her father at her regional ice skating competition from when she was fifteen and had won the second place trophy. Her mother took the photograph.

Taylor picked up the photograph and held it close to her as she scanned the small living space for anything else before finding herself in her father's bedroom.

The room was practically empty, except for a bed with a nightstand on either side. Taylor was shocked at what she found sitting on one of the nightstands. It was a picture that Amanda had taken of Taylor holding Jay for the first time. She had mailed the picture out to a few family and friends as an unofficial birth announcement, and made sure to send one to her parents to make them see what they were missing. She was shocked that her father had kept it.

Holding the two picture frames, she opened the door for him. "Look, Liam," she said with a quiet sniffle, "He kept them." If it weren't for Liam's arms holding her up, she would have fallen into a ball of sobs on the ground. "I want to donate everything." She informed Liam after her sobs had ceased. "All of the clothes and all."
