I still recall,
Clear as crystal it lies in my memory.
The hurt in those eyes,
You never bothered shielding them.
Wild as a horse you were,
You let me ride you and experience the sheer taste of freedom.
It was beautiful while it lasted,
Till we both realised the tragedy...
You let me tame you,
You let me control you,
You never should have.
Now, you've lost your wild spirit.

I should never have let it go so far.
Never have let you love me.
