5 MONTHS LATER

ASHTON's POV

I woke up to the sun in my face.I smiled at the thought of us leaving today.I get to see Harry,Lauren,my mom.But I have to see Serenity,I can't.Shes always with this Max guy.Twards the middle of May she slowly stopped texting me and by June first,I never heard from her again.Its now September and honestly I miss her.I miss how her eyes light up when she gets excited,the adorable laugh she always had when she thought something was funny.I miss our little adventures.I shook that thought out of my head and got out of bed I threw a pillow at Luke since we were rooming together while getting some clothes and showering.I quickly got out and got dressed.I walked out and seen all the boys with their suit cases.We talked for a bit then left

We were at the airport waiting on our flight to be called after security."So,are you ready to confront Ren yet?"Luke asked."No mate,I'm really not.I mean it's going to be so awkward and she promised,she broke that promise."I told him."Well,what do you mean,why is it awkward,and what promise?"Luke asked confused."Well,we made a promise that when I came back from tour we would date and wait for each other,she broke that promise,and awkward because I never texted her and I feel so horrible because when I see her dad he said her depression came back,I can't imagine how she is now."I told him."Well mate,I know it's scary,but you have to face it eventually.It will be okay."he said.Luke was always be my best friend,always has been. Suddenly we heard our flight being called.We all got up and got on the plane and took our seats.I sat by the window,put in my ear buds and music,and quickly falling asleep

Skipping Flight

I woke up to Luke shaking me."Mate,we're here."he said and I sat up.We got off,got our luggage,and went to find our families.Soon we spotted our mums and siblings and ran to them embracing them into very tight hugs."Oh my baby!"my mom said shedding a couple tears while she hugged me.We hugged everyone one by one then left the airport.Right before we pulled into the drive way I seen Ren.She looked terrible.She had bruises all over her,scratches and cuts everywhere,even more bracelets than when I left,and she looked totally different.Her hair was a blue and teal ombré colour,she had a nose ring,and she wore complete black.I felt terrible.We pulled up to our house when a lady was in Ren's yard and started to yell at her.Then she punched Ren and repeatedly kicked her around,then dragged her by her hair into the house and slammed the door.I got out and unloaded my luggage and hauled it up to my room.While putting things away I looked into Serenity's room.I thought of the memories before I left.The nights we would cuddle in her bed and watched Netflix all night and eat junk food.When I was taking random pictures of things when we went shopping.Just then her door flung open and the same lady as earlier was there and threw Ren on the floor then quickly shut her door. Ren tried to open it but she couldn't so I guess it was locked.She fell back on the floor and stared at the ceiling.The sound of my moms voice rang through my ears."Ash honey,please get ready we are having the Parker family over for dinner,dress nice!"i sighed thinking that Ren and her family will be over tonight,that means i will have to face her sooner than i planned to.

RENS POV

When my mom locked my door she shouted to get dressed fancy.I layed on the floor looking up and thinking about how horrible my life has been since Ashton left.My depression came back,I'm getting bullied at school because I'm a 'nerd' and an 'emo freak' which is kind of true,My mom and brother passed away,Max left,Clair is in a boarding school in the UK having the time of her life with friends and living with our all time favorite relative not caring about what happened to me,i realize that i was tying her down from having fun,my dad got remarried to a woman who i think will try to kill me in my sleep eventually and all she does is abuse me,to top it all off my dad is getting sicker as the days go by and I'm getting worried,the only good thing is the fact that I post videos on YouTube of me singing and I'm becoming quite popular.I decided to get ready.I slowly got up and made my way to my bathroom. Stripped from my clothes and hopped in.I shaved,washed my hair,and was he my body.

When i got out i put on a band tee and some sweats.I grabbed my hair dryer and blow dried my blue and teal hair.When i was done i straightened it and went to pick out my clothes.I chose a black crop top,black jeans with rips in the knee,black high top converse,and dark purple lipstick from smash box [pic above].I looked in my full length mirror in disgust.I had both arms covered in cuts and scars that were hidden under millions of bracelets.It was honestly depressing.Merideth came in and told me we were leaving now.I grabbed my phone and followed them out the door.We walked up to Ashtons house I guess we were having dinner here.His mum opened the door and greeted us.We walked in and Lauren and Harry came running in the hug me.I missed these two I haven't seen them since Ash left.I hugged them back and smiled at them.I looked at the stair case and seen Ashton standing at the top looking down at us three.I gave him a weak smile but he looked at me in discuss and walked back into his room.I sighed and Lauren pulled me outside and we sat in the swing."So how have you been,and why did Ash look at you like that?"she asked while we sat down."I could be better and honestly I have no clue what happened to me and him."I told her truthfully.She nodded understandingly.For the next 45 minutes we told corny jokes and pickup lines and laughing until Ash came outside."I'll leave you two alone."Lauren said and walked back inside.We sat in silence with him just staring at me."So I see your depression came back."he said.Well no crap of course it did."Yep." I told him nodding."What's your problem?" He asked and I looked at him in disbelief."What?" I asked him."You broke our promise,you still text me,then you act all depressed for me to feel sorry." "Okay,what!?I never broke our promise I texted you every day for  3 1/2 months! And you think I'm pretending to be like THIS?!"I yelled at him."Yes you broke our promise with that Max guy! And why are you looking depressed?Is it because your only friend left you to go live her life?! Because your mommy and brother died?"he said raising his voice."Max is my cousin and he's 19 and gay and those are reasons why I'm like this along with getting bullied at school,getting abused at home!LOSING TOUCH WITH YOU WAS THE WORSE THING EVER NOW YIU SAY THIS TO ME?!"I screamed at him I noticed everyone was watching us from in the kitchen."STOP TRYING TO MAKE UP AND EXCSUSE FOR THAT GUY!YOU'RE A LYING SLUT!I WISH I NEVER MET YOU!YOU MAKE ME STRESSED LIKE THIS WHEN YOU TEXT ME AND IM SICK OF YOU!DO EVERYONE A FAVOR AND GO MEET YOUR MOM AND BROTHER!"he yelled at me and that's when I broke into tears "Fine!I RATHER BE WITH THEM SIX FEET UNDER THAN SPEND ANOTHER DAY HERE!"I yelled than ran back in side and out all the way back to my house.I ran upstairs,changed and got into bed.I decided that I would do it.I would wait til the tension went down after a few days then I would do it,I would be back with my little bro...
