Hidden Vampires

4 ~ Ella

Her little sister gasped.
"Max is a vampire too!" She said in excitement to her big sister.
Ella looked down at me, acting as if she was confused.
"Hey, show me your fangs.." I said to her little sister.
She nodded and blinked a few times, before her sharp fangs came in her mouth.

"Layla!" Ella shouted.
I looked up at her,
"Don't worry, I am too.." I admitted.
"Really?" Ella exclaimed.
"Yes. Believe it or not, I am one of you."
"Wow, I've never met another vampire before.." She said to me.
"Me either, apart from my parents.."

We talked for ages, I gave her my full backstory as did she. It was actually really interesting to meet another one of my true kind. We both understood each other better than me and Ross did right now. We could relate to so much! And we both had to hide our powers from everyone around us. Ella was currently teacher her little sister to do the same, but it wasn't really working out well.

"Well, I should go home! My room mates are probably worried about me.." I said to Ella.
"Really? They don't know about you, do they?" She asked.
"No. You're the only one that does."
"Wow."
I saw Layla whisper something to her sister, Ella nodded in agreement.
"Max, could I have your number?" She asked.
I was kinda surprised, why did she want my number? I shouldn't question it.
"Sure!" I said and took her phone, writing down my number as a new contact.
"There you go!" I said and smiled.
"Thanks! I'll text you later!"

"I should really get going, again, it was nice meeting you, bye Ella, and Layla!" I said to them as I got in my car. I heard then saying goodbye from outside and I waved as I drove off.

My whole journey home was spent thinking about her. She was really a vampire, did that mean.. There was more out there? Oh am I glad I gave her my number, I need to seriously ask some stuff, maybe seeing her again would be a good thing to do.

I pulled up in the driveway and parked my car. I grabbed the bag and headed back inside my house. Of course, I found Ross and Tim playing gang beasts on the couch, they must've finished the horror movie. I dumped the bag of stuff and kicked my shoes off.

"Hey, guys I'm really tired so I'm just gonna head up to bed now, goodnight!" I said to them, they nodded as they were both completely focused on the game. I didn't complain because I was like that too when we played.

I locked myself in my room and just waited for that text from Ella...
