Hidden Vampires

7 ~ Movie Night

I pulled out the bottom of our couch so it became a sofa bed type thing. I grabbed some blankets and made popcorn for us. I lay the popcorn on the table when I saw Layla yawning.

"You tired Layla?" I asked her.
"N-No! I can stay up all night!" She replied. I just smiled and shook my head. She wouldn't make another hour.

Me and Ella lay on the couch with Layla in between us, I pulled the blanket over us and grabbed the tv remote.

"So, what do you guys wanna watch?" I asked.
"Ooh! Ooh!! The movie with the minions in it!!" Layla said happily.
"She means despicable me," Ella laughed.
"Okay!" I said and put the movie on.

I was right. Layla was asleep in no time, she was only little, so I could understand why she fell asleep so quickly.
"She must've been tired.." I whispered and laughed quietly. "Do you want me to take her up to my room?" I asked.
"If that's okay, yeah," Ella replied.

I carefully lifted Layla up to my bedroom and put her in my bed, I pulled the duvet over her without making a sound. I headed back downstairs to Ella.

"Do you want to watch something else?" I laughed as the kids movie was still on.
"Yeah," she laughed too.
"What though?" I asked.
"I don't know, you can choose." Ella said to me.
"Oh please, you're the guest.. You can choose!" I said and smiled.
"Oh okay.."

After about five minutes of looking through movies, she eventually picked the film 'Me Before You'.
"What's this about?" I asked her.
"I don't know actually, I seen it out a while ago but I'd never seen it.."

*small time skip*

Damn this film was sad, it was all about this guy who was in an accident and now he's living with a carer. But it did get better, they fell in love and it left Ella in tears. I just smiled, it was adorable.

Wait.. What am I.. Do I? No..

'I have a crush on Ella..'

What? No I don't what am I saying? We're just friends..

'I have a crush on Ella..'

My thoughts were all over the place. Did I? I don't know.
I blinked a few times to get myself out of my thoughts.

"Do you need a tissue?" I asked her.
"Y-Yeah.. That movie was great.." She replied. I smiled and reached for the tissues, handing them to her. She took one and rubbed her eyes, and I couldn't help but pull her into a hug.

'Yup.. I definitely have a crush on Ella..'
