Hidden Vampires

6 ~ Seeing Ella Again

I came home after having all my fun in the woods, I was alone the whole time, but it was still fun.

I stayed on my phone for a while, before slowly falling asleep, dreaming about tomorrow and my meet up with Ella again.

*time skip to morning*

It was my day off today, so no Ross or Tim yelling at me to wake up. I think they were both out for the day actually, Ross with his girlfriend and Tim with his family. Man, I would be alone if it wasn't for her, it's hard to see your family when you have no idea where they are, and it's hard to get a girlfriend when you're a vampire. I still had all my friends at Sky Media I guess..

I yawned and turned around, looking up at my clock.
"Shit!" I said as it was 11.30 already.
I knew I should have set an alarm or something. I had to be at crossroads in a half hour and I was barely even awake.

I got ready as quick as possible, and went to my car. Crossroads was only ten minutes away, but I already knew I was going to be late.

When I parked I practically ran in, heading to the place Ella wanted to meet. She was sitting at a table waiting for me.

"I'm so sorry I'm late!" I said as I sat down.
"Don't worry, it's okay!" She laughed.
"So, why did you want to meet me here?" I asked.
"Well.. I have some stuff I want to talk about, if that's okay?" She said to me.
"Sure!"
"Well.. Are you really a vampire? It's all Layla's been talking about and-"
I cut her off, "That depends, are you?" I asked.
"I.. Uh.. Yes. I am." She said quietly to me.
"Me too.."
"Wait... Really?! I thought you were just pretending for her! So all that stuff you told me was true?" Ella sounded shocked. I was too.
"Yes.." I said to her.

We got lunch and talked more before deciding to spend the rest of the day together, Ella picked up and brought Layla over to my place, we were all going to watch movies together, I think they were gonna stay the night too, we were really good friends even though we had only known  each other for two days.

"Hai Max!!" Layla said as they both came in.
"Hey Layla!" I said and smiled bright.
