Hidden Vampires

5 ~ Pretty Normal

I eventually heard Ross and Tim head to bed. I waited up for at least another hour before falling asleep. Maybe I would have a message in the morning.

*the next day*

I woke up to the sound of Tim's voice.
"Max! Wake up!!" He yelled.
"I'll be down in a sec.." I groaned as I realised today was the day we were recording at the offices. We went there every so often to do some recordings and to just see everyone again.

I grabbed my phone from the small table and checked it, there was a message from Ella.

'Hey! Sorry I didn't text you sooner we got stuck in traffic on the way home, anyway, would you like to meet for lunch today? I have some stuff I wanna talk about :)'
I sighed, I couldn't go. I had work today.
'Sorry, are you free tomorrow? I've got work today'
I got a reply almost instantly.
'Yeah, 12 okay?'
'Sure! See you then'

I was looking forward to it. I just wondered what she wanted to talk to me about..
"MAX!!" Tim yelled.
"TWO SECONDS!" I yelled back.

They were waiting on me when I eventually got downstairs, we headed out to the car and drove to get breakfast, then went straight to the offices. We were only five minutes late, but Tim freaked out anyway. He was kinda OCD when it came to getting places on time.

The day was pretty normal, recordings and stuff, and before we knew it, it was time to go home again. I waited for Ross and Tim to come to the car, when they came we just headed straight home.

*time skip to 10PM*

I couldn't sleep, plus, I didn't need it anyway. So I decided to sneak out, Ross and Tim were probably sleeping anyway, but just to be safe, and for more fun, I jumped out my window and turned into my bat form on the way down.

I flew around the sky for a while, watching all the lights below me, I made my way to the forest and landed, turning myself into a massive, black wolf.

It had been a long time since I'd done this, I forgot how fun it was. It was just amazing to be able to experience running and flying through the woods, I really did love the powers I had in times like these.

I howled out to see if there was anyone else around, one other wolf came running, but that was actually a wolf, not a vampire, just a real wolf. It was pretty normal though, I had never met another vampire around here, or that is, until I met Ella and Layla..
