(A/N: Finally an update after FOREVER😜)

Kellin's POV
I texted my Dad letting him know i wouldn't need to be picked up as I was walking to my last class of the day. As I stepped in the room I wasn't sure whether or not we had to sit beside our partners but soon enough I found my answer when the only seat left open was beside of Vic.

I sat down and took out my notebook and flipped to the end of the notes I took, but didn't finish, yesterday. I glanced at Vic and he was talking to the same girl from yesterday. I looked away disgusted as she pulled her top down more an leaned foreword, whispering something in Vic's ear.

As class started I took notes and began to wonder how today was going to end. I was going to Vic's house and that could be an okay thing or a very bad thing. Now that I think about it, if Vic and I have the same last period together why does he want me to meet him at the back entrance. He parks his car on the spots reserved for the seniors and that's right out front. The more I thought about the more it confused me.

When the bell rang I taped Vic on the shoulder.
"What?" He said sharply and turned to face me.
"Why do you want me to meet you at the back entrance?" I said getting straight to the point.
"Just do it." Was all he said before walking out of the classroom. I hurried after him but he was already lost in the sea of High School students.

I headed to my locker and put my things away and retrieved what I needed to take home. I spoke to Oli briefly then went to wait at the back entrance.

I waited for about fifteen minutes before deciding he wasn't going to show up. I sighed and pulled my phone out getting ready call my dad to come pick me up. Just as I was getting ready to press send someone shouted at me.
"Are you coming or not?" I looked away from my phone and saw Vic in his car, accompanied by someone else in the passenger seat.

I made my way over to the car and opened the door to the back seat. I slid in and he started the car and pulled out.
"Your Kellin right?" The dude in the passenger seat turned around and said.
"Yea." I nodded.
"I'm Mike. Vic's brother. I'm a sophomore too. I believe we might have a couple classes together." It took a moment but I finally places him.
"English and history right." I said.
"Yeah. Dude I'm never gonna finish that essay."
The rest of the way to their house me and Mike talked. Vic never said a word the whole way there.

Once we pulled into their driveway Mike hopped out like small child and practically ran to the door. Vic got out apparently forgetting I was even there or just ignoring me on purpose. I grabbed my bag and opened the car door and slowly walked up to the house. The door had been shut. I sighed and knocked a couple of times.

Vic answered the door finally.
"You could have just walked in."
"Sorry. I didn't want to be rude."
"Yea whatever. Let's just finish this project thing." I just nodded and followed him up the stairs and to his room.
He sat down on his bed and I took a seat beside of him.
"So what do you want the project to be on?" He asked.
"Let's do something on either the periodic table or just something simple." For the simpler minded I thought as he laid back on the bed and put his hands behind his head.
"Nahh that's too simple how about we do something on Thermochemistry or Nuclear Chemistry," he got this gleam in his eyes and I stared at him in shock "We could do it on..." He trailed off and looked at me. The gleam in his eyes faded away and he scratched his head. "What the fuck am I even talking about." He said with a chuckle. "Lets do something simple, yeah?" He said and looked at me waiting for a response.

"Vic those were great ideas." I said and he smiled.
"Thanks umm I just randomly saw them on the syllabus." He said.
"Okay sure Vic." I think I was getting it now. Vic was not dumb at all. Not in the slightest. He was smart, very smart. He just didn't show it. There had to be some reason behind it. What reason I don't know but there had to be one.

After talking for another two hours and still not deciding on what to do our project over exactly Vic's mom came to the door and told us supper was ready. I declined at first but she said I was way to skinny and needed some meat on my bones. This made me chuckle and I walked down the stairs, following Vic and his mother. I took a seat beside Vic and stared at the food in front of me, it looked delicious.
His mom dished out enormous portions onto the plates and we all began to eat.

"This is really good Mrs. Fuentes." I said after taking yet another bite.
"Thank you dear. I'm sorry but what was your name again?"
"Kellin ma'am." I said with a smile.
"You'll be good for Vic." She said and pointed at me. "Polite and well mannered. I'm glad he had a friend like you." His mom said.
"He's not my friend, we just have to do a science project together." Vic said talking through a mouthful of food.
"Victor close your mouth when you chew!"
I giggled as the two bickered.
Vic stopped momentarily to look at me.
"Did you just giggle?" He asked. I felt my face heat up and I shook my head.
"No not at all."
He smiled at me and I looked back down at my food. God stupid pale skin and blushes.
