I frowned as Astral turned to look at me. “Delilah? I’m sorry.”
Turning on my heal, I faced Taylor, and declared, “To the hotel!”
Taylor just stared at me as I ran down the steps. I glanced back up at her, James, an Astral, with a slight glare. Astral visibly sighed before following. James shouted something at Astral when Taylor way half way down the steps.

“Why do you do that?” James thundered.
“Do what?” I asked, puzzled.
“You comply to what she says! Did you even think that she may want to talk to you anyway?! That’s how girls work.”
“I will never understand how the female brain works. Please explain, James.”

I sighed as Taylor came to stand next to me. She looked at me, then up at the boys. Astral looked downed, and I felt tears pop into my eyes. “I’m so stupid! He doesn’t understand women, and I want him to! I just can’t figure out how!”
I smacked myself in the stomach, then crouched to the ground, as the tears spilled over. “So stupid, so stupid...” I muttered. I heard Taylor crouch down next to me, and put an arm over my shoulder. Then a second arm came over my shoulder, and Taylor’s disappeared. “Delilah, we need to talk!”
~Taylor~
“Delilah, you need to tell me these things!” Astral was stand-sitting next to her, the arm that wasn’t wrapped around her waving around frantically.
“Huh? What things?” she spat.
“D, stop, ok? Just let him vent.” I sighed in frustration. Couldn’t she just listen for once?
“Delilah, you know I like you a lot!” Even I could tell he was more than a bit frustrated, but Delilah seemed oblivious.
“Look, Astral, Delilah, let’s get to our hotel rooms. We’re all tired, we’re all hungry. We all want our boy/girlfriends to kiss us. James!” I looked up, grabbing Delilah’s hand and pulling her up. “Let’s go.” I grabbed his hand next and we walked down the hall.
Ten seconds later, we were in our room. ‘Room 113’ was our room, while Delilah and Astral had the room across the hall, ‘Room 114’. The moment the door was closed, James encircled me in his arms. “Mmmm, you just wanted to kiss me... Right?” A faint blush appeared on my face as I turned away slightly.
“Maybe, but maybe I wanted them to have their romantic moment in private.” I whispered back, and he groaned, and initiated a kiss.

I closed the door slowly. Astral had gone back into the necklace out of frustration. I gave a loud curse as I fell to the floor, momentarily frozen in pain. I then sat up, cursing loudly for stepping on one of my arrows. I glanced to my right, and saw my longbow sitting there. My quiver had fallen over, causing my arrows to fall out. I plucked the arrow out of my foot just as Astral appeared.
“Look, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I-”I had put my index finger up to his lips, shushing him.
“I’m the one that should be sorry. I was acting so naive! I should have thought things through. I’m so sorry Astral!”
“...”
My gaze dropped the floor as I took off my hat. My golden cat ears appeared through my hair, and they were pinned to my head in shame. I felt a sudden touch to my ears. Glancing up, I saw Astral’s smiling face. He beamed at me as he scratched my ear. I then realised I was purring. A light blush appeared over my face. “You found my week spot.” i muttered. He just smiled. I grinned back at him as he pulled me into a warm hug. His eyes bore into mine as he whispered. “You’re forgiven.”
Our faces were about a centimeter apart when the door opened.

“Oh! Come on! I’ll leave! Just kiss when I’m gone!” I had walked right into the two kids about to kiss. Great timing, Taylor. I thought to myself. Even so, I slipped the information under the door so they could review it. My plan for taking him out was also in there. I wanted to knock him out with scorpion and some other really poisonous spider poison, so he would go down painfully. I would have to somehow stick a needle in him for that though, that was the only downside. He let no one near him except to kill them.
