Judy's P.O.V

I glanced up, seeing that Nick left. It was quieter, since my parents had moved their argument outside, but my siblings started being loud.
"At least someone can have fun right now" I thought.

Then I remembered Nick.
"Where is he?" I murmured.
I looked around for a bit, then checked our room. I peeked my head through the doorway and saw him in our bed.
"There he is" I sighed. I was just thankful Nick was okay.
My ears twitched slightly at a sound behind me.

When I turned around, I saw my dad, looking sad. I raised an eyebrow at him and but my paws on my hips.
"Listen, Judy, I want to apologize for... how I acted toward Nick. I don't agree with your decision being with a fox, but... I won't do anything that can hurt you or him... or your relationship."
"Thank you dad, but you need to get to know Nick before you make assumptions. Yes he's a fox, but what of it? I love him and you need to realize that."
He smiled "Okay, Jude the dude, I trust both of you."
I hugged my father. "Thank you dad"

I pulled away and walked in to me and Nick's room, closing the door behind me. I crawled into bed next to Nick, and felt his arm around me.
"Goodnight Nick." I whispered as I snuggled closer to him.

Nick's P.O.V

I squinted against the sunlight as it hit my face. "Well, I guess it's time to get up"
"Carrots" I whispered. "Carrots, time to get up"
She moved a little bit, slightly opening her eyes. "Just five more minutes, Nicky."
I smirked, "I thought you had to get up early to work on the farm?"
She growled, "Ugh, you remember that?"
"Yep" I say, nuzzling into her shoulder.
"You really want to work your tail off all day?" She countered.
"Well, we could just go back to Zootopia..." I teased. "...but I want to help. You know, prove that I'm not just an untrustworthy fox."
She kissed me, "You are not untrustworthy." She got up, with me following suit.

A little bit later, I was picking carrots and blueberries. It was hard work, but I've never done something like this, I dare say it was fun.
"Heh, a fox working on a farm... never heard of that one." I chuckled to myself.

Judy's P.O.V

Today was a pretty slow day. There weren't as many customers as there used to, but more of a variety of animals.

"At least we'll get back to Zootopia" I thought. I looked over at Nick, who was making idle conversation with my parents. It was a long day, especially for him. No naps, no coffee, I honestly don't know how he survived today.
Just another one of his secrets...

He looked over his shoulder and saw me staring at him. He smirked and winked at me. I smiled back at him and walked over.

"So, has this fox proved himself?" He said jokingly.
"You didn't have to prove anything. If Judy trusts you, we do." Mom said.
"Well..." Dad said.
"Dad!" I yelled "Stu!" my mom yelled at the same time.
He laughed, "I'm just kidding! Nick, you'd always be a part of our family." He paused, "Unless you hurt our Judy, of course." He said seriously.
Nick put his paws up. "Trust me, sir, I'd never hurt her. She is the love of my life" He finished, putting an arm around me. I lightly tugged on his arm. "Come on, Nick, we gotta go." I whined. I had already repacked everything and had the bags outside.
"Okay, Cottontail. Goodbye Mr and Mrs Hopps." He said happily while walking down the drive way.

Nick's P.O.V

"So, Nick?" Judy said in a worried tone.
"Yeah?"
"Since, you know, we're a thing... are we going to tell everyone at work?"
I froze. Interspecies relationships were taboo in Zootopia. I don't think that the force would like it any better than anyone else.

Except Clawhauser. He seemed to be happy with everything.

I down looked into her amethyst eyes.
"We... won't." I said sadly. "It tears me apart to say it, but we need to keep us a secret. I don't want to lose our job because we love each other. Okay?"
"Okay" She said sadly.
"Don't be sad, besides," I said, patting her head. "we can still have some fun alone." I smirked, wiggling my eyebrows.
"N-Nick!" She blushed, slapping my arm. I chuckled.

The train pulled up. "Let's, go. I'm tired." Judy said, recovering from her blush and yawned. Five minutes later, on the train, she was asleep, snoring softly and leaning on me.
"So cute" I thought to myself.
