"Look at all the beautiful ladies!" "Shut up, lover boy." The group of nine walked to the cafeteria of NWH. "How do you think yn is doing?" "I don't know." Everyone looked to each other with small frowns. "Guys, she'll come back! I know it," Luffy reassured his friends. They got in line to receive the school lunch.

They sat down at a table and exchanged small talk, except for a certain blond. Sanji had sat down on the end and flirted with the girl to his left. A pair of eyes watched the scene and scowled, "Oi. You've got a girlfriend, leave her alone." Sanji's head whipped around. "Are you saying I'm cheating on yn?" "Knowing you, you most likely would. Especially since she's not here."

Everyone's eyes switched between Zoro and Sanji.

"I'd never do such a thing to yn!" "Then stop flirting." Zoro's eyes narrowed at Sanji. The girl from earlier realized the situation and left to another table. Sanji stayed silent as he ate his lunch.

The next day, Zoro had to remind Sanji again.

"You disregarded what I said yesterday." "Yeah I did." "You don't care about yn anymore, do you?" "I care!" "You obviously don't, if you keep flirting with the girls." Sanji opened his mouth to retort, but nothing was said. "You've lost interest because she's not here."

Sanji shook his head. "Wrong!" "Then show it. Stop flirting and ogling every damn girl." Sanji huffed and walked to his class. Zoro stared after him before turning to the gym.

To say the least, you got comfortable in your new school. You also had many boys ask you out on dates, and you declined. They understood the way you were and respected your loyalty to your relationships.

You and Cindy became friends, which surprised you. The way it happened was that she was failing calculus and if she didn't bring up her grades she'd be let go of the cheer team. You taught her some tricks to help her remember how to solve certain problems and the next test she scored a high B. You joined the art UIL team and helped them score first in the district.

Your first year wasn't as bad as you thought. But you were still going to go back after year two. You missed all your friends back home. Luffy's laugh, Nami's obsession with money, Robin's stories, Usopp and Franky's cool gadgets, Brook's music, Chopper's studies on herbs for medicine, Zoro's poor sense of direction... And Sanji. How you couldn't wait to see his face again.

"Yn? Yn. Yn!" "Huh!?" Ajax waved his hand in front of your face. "You were dozing off. I asked if you wanted to go for ice cream." "Oh, sure," you answered with a smile. You gathered your art journal and walked with Ajax.

The two of you waited in line. "Wait, so you tried to do the splits without the knowledge of it hurting," you laughed. "Yeah!" "Can you do it now?" "Ahh, let me see." He spread his legs and he slowly sank down. "Oh my god!" Ajax looked up at you and laughed, "I did it! Annd I can't get up." You laughed and held out your hand. He took it and you slowly brought him back up.

"Agh...now it hurts to walk." He rubbed his thighs as you two were next at the window. "One swirl and," he looked to you. "One /flavor/." The woman smiled and disappeared into the truck.

She stuck her hands out with the two cones. You took the cones and Ajax paid. You walked out of the line and gave Ajax his cone. "Thanks."

The two of you walked down the park trail that was close by, conversing a little here and there. "So, your coming back next year, right?" "Yeah. I'll be here, sophomore year." "And for the rest, right?" You took a bite of your cone, stalling the answer. "Well?" "I'll be leaving after next year," you swallowed. "What?" "I made a promise that I wouldn't spend more than two years of high school without my friends."

Ajax looked away from you and finished his cone and so did you. "Well, it's almost summer. And then you have one year left here." You nodded. Ajax glanced at you and then to the sky. "It's getting late. I'll walk you home." "Okay."

Halfway through the walk, he grabbed your hand. You blushed and looked at him. "What?" You averted your eyes to the pavement. "Nothing."

Finally at your home, he let go and stood by the curb, and watched you enter your home. "Goodnight, Ajax," you breathed and closed the door. "Goodnight," he murmured. He looked back the way he came and started his way home, you being on his mind all the while.
