You pulled back and you stared at him in shock. It's been a few months since Sanji cheated on you, but you were still unsure if you should get into a relationship. Especially one with your best friend.

Looking at his face, you knew he was desperately wanting you to say yes. You closed your eyes. Strong, good protector. Hair, soft and soothing. Has been best friend for a long time, knows boundaries and how to care for someone. You listed off more reasons before deciding your answer. The crew seemed confused as to what Zoro whispered and why you were taking a while to respond. "Yes." Zoro took a double take and rubbed his eye, as if that would help him hear and understand what you said. "What?" "I said yes." His lips curled into a smile, one no one has seen in a long time. His arms brought you into him. "Thank you."

"Wait, what happened?" Luffy asked, confused more than anyone else. Robin chuckled, "Cute." Sanji stood by the tree, his cigarette just barely hanging on to his lower lip as his mouth was open from shock. His pupils looked as if they shrunk and his skin was paler. "Sanji, are you okay?" He closed his jaw, teeth clenched against each other. His eyes narrowed and his face was enraged.

Sanji closed his eyes and released the tension in his jaw. His face became relaxed as he took a drag from his cigarette. Taking the white, cancerous stick from his mouth he exhaled the smoke.

I left her. I have no reason to be upset.

Part II

You and Zoro said your goodbye's and left the party. The drive home was normal, though Zoro's hand was placed on your thigh. That was the only difference in the ride. You were content and so was he.

Entering your apartment, you crashed once again onto your bed and fell asleep instantly. Zoro came into your room to place a soft kiss to your hand before exiting your room, closing the door behind him. He entered his own room and fell onto his bed. He closed his eye and smiled to himself.

Although he wanted to kiss you right then when you said yes, he held himself back. Rushing into a relationship isn't something you would enjoy and he wanted you to be happy with him. This in his mind, he'll take it slow or go at the pace in which you are comfortable in.
