Chapter 25

Ah, yes. The day has arrived where the exchanging of chocolates and gifts ensue - Valentine's Day. It was a normal day for you and Zoro, though, except the abnormal amount of surprise kisses you two gave each other.

School was let out early - a national holiday being the cause. Now, instead of going home, the two of you decide to drive around a bit. This was for an hour or so when your phone rang.

Zoro answered and put the call on speaker, not before saying it was Law. "Hello, Law." your voice was calm and collected, unlike his which was very rare. "YN, you need to come in now. It's Valentine's Day and its fucking chaotic here - please hurry your ass up." With that, Law hung up.

So, with a grown, you turned the car around and headed for the cafe.

Upon arriving, Zoro and you hurried in. You had to push past customers to get to the back. "HURRY UP YN!" Law shouted from his place at the register.

"I'M GOING!" You shouted back. You quickly threw on your apron and tied a messy knot in the back. You looked to Zoro and eyed him. "What?" He deadpanned. "Put on this on." You threw him an extra apron from the rack.

"I don't work here!" He cried after you. "You do now!" You told him rushing out to the floor. Grumbling nonsense, he put on the apron and went out to the floor as well.

"What the fuck do I do?" He muttered to himself. "Moss-head! Get over here and make coffee. You know how to make coffee right?" Zoro opened his mouth to protest and call him out for calling him moss-head, but Law cut him off, "You do now."

Law pointed to the station where he would make the coffee and left back to the register. "Carmel macchiato, creamer instead of milk and whip cream!" Law ordered.

Zoro stared at the station and began making what he was told - even though he had no clue what he was doing. It took Zoro about ten minutes to make the drink and lid the cup. He read the name on the cup aloud and set it on the bar.

You heard his voice and whipped your head around. Seeing him making the drinks put a smile on your face. "YN, I need two vanilla cake slices." You nodded went back to managing the little bakery.

After all is said and done, only three couples stayed to sit and chat with their partner. You signed and popped your back. Zoro came up to you and wrapped his arms around your waist from behind. "Oi, no PDA." Law broke your moment with his stern voice. "We're hugging. There are three couples making out right now." You retorted, "And you technically ruined our Valentine's day. Don't you have a Valentine?" "No." He crossed his arms, "This day is literally so businesses, mainly those who produce and market sweets and toys - like us, get more money."

You glared at the stoic man, "It's that redhead isn't it?" Law scoffed, "Who?" "The redhead! He comes in almost everytime your on duty! He's your Valentine!" You exclaim.

"I don't know who you're talking about, I can't remember all of our customers who come in and out this cafe."

Speaking of the devil, a tall, redheaded male comes in. "Hello, Law." The man smiles, or rather smirks towards Law before taking notice of you and Zoro. "Oh, your the other one that works here." You smile and nod, "YN." "Kidd." Kidd turns back to Law and nods his head toward the door, "Your shifts over, lets go home so I can show you your surprise."

You giggle and glance towards Law. Law rolled his eyes, "I hate surprises." He says going to the back. "Yeah, but you're going to love this one."

Zoro, who hasn't moved from leaning on your back, looks to you. "He's gay?" Zoro whispers. "Apparently, but it doesn't matter. They seem happy together." You whisper back, turning your head to give his temple a kiss. "Come on, let's close up." You say, patting his arms off your waist and going to the back.

Once you two left and arrived home, you changed into pj's and so did he.

"We never did anything for today." Zoro realizes. "Did you want something?" You asked, quirking a brow at him. "I mean... I guess?"

You smiled and took his hand, pulling him into his room. He doesn't ask questions, but the confusement is evident on his face. You fall onto his bed, dragging him down with you. "What are you doing?" He finally asks. "Sh. Sleep and cuddle. This is your present." He smiles and wraps an arm around your waist, keeping you close to him as your body cuddles into his side.

"Goodnight, I love you." You say softly. "I love you too, goodnight." He kisses the top of your head before closing his eyes.
