Running through the streets of the Empire the captain kept leading us around corner after corner of cottages and market stands. People kept glaring us down and a few people even started chasing us, figuring out the we didn't really fit in here, Ivan took care of that by putting of tall wall of earth in between us and them ever so often.
I thought for a moment we were heading to the ship but the captain took a certain turn and we were running alongside the oceans border rather than toward the ship.
Jarom and Dax followed closely behind the captain while Ivan ran behind Felicity and I so he could put up walls easily.
It seemed like we would never stop, I don't even know how I was able to run so quickly and for so long, I wasn't that well trained in running.
The path that we were on went down a steep hill and into an apple orchard, the captain continued to lead us well into the orchard and then suddenly slowed down and came to a stop.
The second I stopped I found myself collapsing to the ground and gasping for air, I looked around and saw everyone besides Jarom, the captain, and Ivan had followed my example.
We were enclosed in an endless number of apples tree and I could barely see the top of the hill that we had just ran down.
I laid back in the soft grass and could feel my heart beating deeply in my chest, my eyes locked on the blue sky and observed the white clouds that lazily floated by.
Moments went by and I found my heart slowing back down and I could feel my feet again. I leaned up and looked at Felicity and Dax who were beside me and still laying on the ground. Jarom, Ivan, and the captain were all huddled in a little circle talking softly about something.
I must have been so tired for those few moments that I didn't even realize that they had formed a conversation.
I got up and felt slightly light headed but it went away just as fast as it came. I walked over to the three and inserted myself into the group.
"There will be a search for you all, maybe even me" The captain continued with their conversation.
"Great, now we have the whole Empire looking for us" Jarom complained, "What are we supposed to do now?"
The captain looked at me and gave a weak smile, "Eventful morning, wouldn't you say princess?"
I gave a weak smile back, "Unfortunately so".
The captain looked back at Jarom and proceeded, "I know your next move".
Ivan, Jarom, and I all looked at the captain. "What?" We all said in unison.
The captain smiled, "We have to get you all to the emperor's palace".
I looked at the captain with a horrified look. Did he not just witness what happened not more than a few moments ago when the whole village tried killing us?
Jarom realized my look and quickly looked back at the captain, "Is that really the best idea we have?"
The captains smiled dropped from his face and instantly he was serious, "My wife was highly upset that you were going to kill someone really important, correct?"
We all nodded our heads in agreement.
"Well", The captain began, "The reason she was so upset was because she had a dream, a dream in which you were with the Emperors daughter".
Jarom and I looked at each other and I knew the same thought went through our heads.
"We have to go get her" I said with enthusiasm, "This is perfect!".
