Kick Fourteen: Fieldtrip to the fountain

Lucy and Natsu strolled down the hallway, Natsu insisting she get to class on time. He carried both of their books, even though Lucy wanted to hold her own.

"Hey look, the Dragneel's are back together." A student giggled, pointing to Lucy and Natsu. Lucy blushed lightly. Natsu chuckled at her red face. "Don't worry Luce. As long as I'm here, you'll continue to be a Dragneel."

Lucy beamed at him, "Don't change Natsu. I love you just the way you are."

Mira and Laxus sat next to each other, watching Mr. Maco teach. Mira's mind was swirling in thoughts. Mira had been pondering a way to get her sister off Lucy, and what other way then to pair her up with a guy?

"I got it," Mira snapped, cheering.

"Mira, would you like to share anything with the class?" Maco sternly asked, glaring daggers at her for interrupting.

"Sure." Mira beamed, walking up to the board.

Mira took the marker from Maco's grasp, finishing the equation written on the board. Mira smiled innocently, "Sorry for interrupting, but I wanted to solve the equation."

Mira placed the marker back in Maco's hand, walking down the isle to the seat. On her way to her seat, she was tripped. Mira regained her balance, glaring at none other than Jenny; Mira's rival. "You sneaky little bitch." Jenny sneered.

"Don't hurt me, you'll make some people very angry," Mira smiled innocently.

"Oh yeah? Who?" Jenny snickered.

"Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu Dragneel, and Laxus Dreyar." Mira smirked, watching as Jenny's face twisted.

Jenny quickly regained her composure, "Lucy can't do shit. Hell, she can't keep Natsu as a boyfriend."

Mira's face contorted, "We'll see about that, tomorrow, the school's fountain."

"I'll be there." Jenny's eyes went back to the board, Mira speedily making it to her seat.

After class ended, Mira jogged to Lucy's class, waiting for her outside. When Lucy came out, she was immediately dragged by Mira. Lucy looked at Mira. "What're you doing?" Lucy questioned her.

"Jenny tripped me in class, we had a 'friendly'," Mira quoted 'friendly' with her fingers, "conversation and you're fighting Jenny tomorrow by the fountain."

Lucy cracked her knuckles, "I'll put that one in her place."

"Oh yeah, and she said..." Mira's pupils shrunk, "Lucy can't do shit. Hell, she can't keep Natsu as a boyfriend."

Lucy pumped her fist in the air, "She's going down!"

"What's going on?"

The two girls turned their heads, gazes meeting with their boyfriends. "Nothing...."

"Spit it out." Natsu crossed his arms.

"I'm gonna beat the shit out of Jenny." Lucy grinned, making Natsu cringe.

"You haven't been practicing karate in years though!" Natsu protested.

"So what? She tripped Mira, that's enough to get my senses going."

"Plus," Mira began, "She said this about Lucy 'Lucy can't do shit. Hell, she can't keep Natsu as a boyfriend.' "

Natsu's face hardened, "She did what?"

"Yeah, so I'll beat the living shit out of her." Lucy skipped around, Mira joining her.

"Anyways, how bout that party this weekend?" Lucy asked Mira.

"Erza, Levy, and the others have been notified Natsu is coming, and Lisanna is still going to a camp for cheerleading."

"Goodie!" Lucy grinned, locking arms with Mira.

"Yeah, let's get to the café?" Mira asked them, earning quick nods from the boys before they ran off.
