Lucy responded with a shrug, "If you want to be here that's your own choice, isn't it?"

"It is," He nodded.

"In all honesty Natsu, I wouldn't mind having company," She giggled, earning a soft gaze from him.

She was so different now. Sure, she was still the valedictorian, but she had friends now, such as her best friend, Mira. She met Mira not long after Natsu, and they instantly became best friends.

Mira was most likely sitting in the bleachers, waiting for Lucy to go and join her so they could cheer for their boyfriends together. But Lucy wasn't going. She was furious. How could Natsu do that to her? Her feet padded against the side walk, her hair swaying from side to side in it's ponytail.

Once she got home, she called Grandeeney.

"Grandeeney," She murmed into the phone.

"Oh, hello Lucy, is something the matter?" Grandeeney asked Lucy, twirling the phone's wire around her polished blue finger.

"When Natsu gets home, can you tell him to call me?" Lucy's voice was wavering. She was angry, and sad all at the same time.

"Of course dear." Grandeeney heard the other line hang up, and once she put the phone on the hanger, she ran to Igneel.

"Something's wrong. Lucy isn't at the game," Igneel looked at his wife for the second time today.

"Grandeeney, don't get involved, let them work it out," She nodded, sadly. She so desperately wanted to tell Natsu to spend more time with Lucy. She wanted to comfort Lucy. But, Igneel was right.

Lucy went to her room, after having a long conversation with Layla. Lucy had apologized. Not that she had done anything wrong in her mom's eyes. However, in her dad's eyes, something had gone wrong in the way he raised her. Lucy told her mom about yelling at Natsu.

"Mira, hey! It's Lucy." Lucy decided it'd be best if Mira knew why she wasn't there.

"Hey, where are you? The game started and Natsu's not playing well." Mira's voice faltered.

"We...We had a fight Mira," Lucy hadn't calmed down at all. Her rage was at it's fullest, but she wanted to stay calm.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Mira asked her, as gentle as she could.

"Yeah, I guess." Lucy had told Mira what happened, not describing details.

"Oh honey," Mira sighed, "I would have to agree with you, I wouldn't like that either,"

"Mira, what do I do?" Lucy asked into the phone, desperately wanting an answer.

"You don't have to do anything. I'll talk to him, maybe give him a nice beating," Mira growled.

"Don't Mira. Just talk to him," And the phone beeped, signaling the end of the call.
