Bad Boys Can Be Different A Gene x Zenix FF (Genix)

Chapter 1 First Day

Also I dedicated this chapter to TheTurtleShaman for inspiring me to write a story about this ship! :3

Gene's POV

Tomorrow was the first day of school!  I'm especially excited for it this year, don't get me wrong, I hate school and tomorrow I was just going to skip classes, but there was something special about it this time. That special thing was Zenix, it was as simple as that, tomorrow Zenix would join Sasha and I in highschool. I waited all last year for this. Zenix is a year younger than Sasha and I. I should probably also mention that I'm madly in love with him. He's perfect in every way and he's my angel. My light in the darkness, he's my everything. And yet... He doesn't know it.

The beginning of last year sucked. Without Zenix I felt empty, a part of me is with him, I was cut in two. As the year progressed, things got better. I wanted to impress Zenix when he got to highschool so I started a gang called The Shadow Knights, yea i know, normally the way to impress your crush isn't by becoming a delinquent and starting a gang, but it is for Zenix. Zenix is as much as a delinquent as Sasha and I, if not more. He wanted to ditch and join The Shadow Knights, but his mother threaten that if he didn't do well in school last year, she would enroll him into Ohkasis Prep. Knowing Zenix, he would've hated it there. Gene would've hated it to because he wouldn't be able to so him at all.

"Gene? Are you still up?" His brother Dante asked, Dante was in the same grade and Zenix... Lucky... "Yea, what do you want?" I asked, slightly annoyed that his brother was choosing to talk to him at 1 AM. "I've been meaning to ask you for awhile, why do you never have any girlfriends, like I've had plenty but you have never had any?" I tense up, well the obvious answer is that I'm 100% gay, but could I trust Dante with that secret... A secret he's been keeping for years... A secret only Sasha knew of. "Pfft, what a silly question brother, it's obvious that no ones good enough for me." I say, feeling foolish of my words... But what else COULD I say? "That's a lie. Your gay, aren't you. I've seen the way you look at girls, and the way you look at Zenix..." HE KNOWS! (Omg I'm dying at that HE KNOOOOWS ALL SEEING DANTE!) When I didn't reply I saw Dante smirk, "Don't worry, your secret safe with me lover boy, your probably excited to see him tomorrow~" I blushed, "Oh go awaaaay!" I say playfully, yes sometimes Dante could act like a brat but he was my brother none the less. He left my room and I close my eyes falling asleep to thoughts filled with Zenix.

"Zenix!" I yelled happily as I see the beautiful brown haired boy across the hallway.

"Gene!" He says with equal amount of excitement as he runs down the hall towards me.

When he reaches me I engulf him in a big bear hug and kiss his cheek, "I've missed you so much babe!" I say, "Me to!" We kiss passionately and I'm overtaken by complete bliss.

Then everything fades to black...

I wake up with a smile on my face remembering my dream, but it soon fades when he remembers that won't happen. "I have to keep my composure in front of him." I say aloud, "Awww... Is lover boy thinking about is wittle cruuush~" I hear Dante say, I look up to see him leaning against my doorway smirking. I blush and look down, "Does it concern you?" I asked with a bit of sass. "My heart!" He yells sarcastically, putting his hand to his heart. "Ha.ha." I replied was the same amount of sarcasm. He laughs then leaves to go get dressed. I do the same then we head out.

Zenix lives near me so I look around to try and spot him, "Looking for someone?" I hear a familiar voice that's makes my heart flutter, I spin around to find a very gorgeous boy smirking. "Zenix!" I cry and jump on him and bring him into a hug. I hear light chuckle... Dante... I blush and untangle myself from Zenix and let out a awkward laugh, brushing myself off (even though there's nothing on me) "Excited to see me are we?" Zenix says making me blush more, "I didn't know I was missed THAT much!" He says, then laughs, his laugh always makes my happy, it's a beautiful noise that make me feel safe. "Heh yea..." I say awkwardly, when did he get so confident? I liked it, "Well then let's get going, I want to see Sasha." He starts walking, leaving me and Dante to follow. Does he like Sasha? I feel a pull of jealousy on my heart. Dante give me a  amused glance. Crap! Why am I so nervous? Get a hold of yourself Gene! I follow my brother and Zenix, admiring the view from behind 😏😏😏😏 (Author~Chan: TRAVIS GET OUT OF GENE~KUN'S MIND! Travis: What?! I'm not doing anything! Just kis- HANGING OUT with Katelyn! Author~Chan: Right~ Gene: He isn't lying. It's me, i mean I can resist! THAT BOOTY THOUGH! Author~Chan: I'm so disappointed in you... Zenix: What's everyone talking about? Gene: Your bu- I MEAN N-NOTHING 😳😳😳 Author~Chan: HAHAHHAAHAHHAHAH)

                            Zenix's POV

 It's really nice to see Gene again, I didn't realize how much I missed him. I didn't have many other friends in middle school so I kept to myself.

I surprised myself with my sudden confidence, I could tell it was really flustering Gene. It's probably just because he wasn't use to me talking to him like that. It was kinda cute~ WAIT EWW NO! NO! Urgghh, why the hell did I think that? Eh whatever, I look behind my to see Gene looking down in my direction. He notices that I turned around and looks up at me. He turns bright red and says, "OH! UM! HI! Hehehe...umm GOTTA FLY!" What's wrong with him today? He runs past me and I look to my right to see Dante having a laughing fit. "What just happened?" I ask, he looks at me, "Wait, so don't know what he was looking at?" He asks stifling a laugh, "Um, nooo.... What was so bad that he- OH FRICK!" I yell remembering where his eyes were, why was he staring at my- THAT? My face heats up and I say " UMMM I gotta go fiiiiinnnd... SASHA! Right! Sasha!" I stutter running away, leaving Dante to have another laughing fit. Why was he...? I decided to shrug it off thinking he was just lost in thought and JUST HAPPENED TO BE LOOKIN AT MY BUTT!

Gene's POV

I was so embarrassed, why did he have to turn around. While running away I ended up finding Sasha. "Hey Gene! Have you seen Zenix?" She asks, "Umm, errr, Yeaaa...." I reply awkwardly, "Oh no, what happened...?" She asks tiredly, I explain everything to her and by the end she's laughing her  butt off, "Oh shut up Sasha..." "HAHAHAHA-OMG-HAHAHAH-THIS-HAHAHAH-IS PRICELESS! HAHAHAHHAHAHAH!" In the middle of her laughing fit, Zenix comes and sits on the bleachers with us. "What's so funny?" He asks, "Zenix!" Sasha hugged Zenix tightly then lets go."Its so great that your finally here!" She said happily, "Its great to be here!" He says excitedly laying back on the bleachers. "So, Gene why'd you leave me and Dante?" He asks mischievously, by the tone in his voice I can tell he knows.... Wait, did Dante tell him that I was looking at his butt?! Oh no! DANTE... I see my brother walking into the school and I yell to him, "DANTE YOUR DEAD!!!!" Zenix starts laughing hysterically and starts to nonchalantly lean over the bleacher he was on, looking like he was about to fall. As he starts to slip and reach out and grab him by the waist. I look in his eyes for a moment before I bring him back to a sitting position, my hand still on his waste. Sasha watches, her full attention is on what we do next. Before I CAN make a move Zenix mumbles 'thanks' then stands up and says, "So, when do I get the grand tour?" 

A/n: Wow, this took a long time to write! I hope you all liked it! Will Gene and Zenix act more like themselves in the next chapter? Will Gene confess his feelings? FIND OUT WHEN I POST THE NEXT CHAPTER WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE TONIGHT!
