As the group turned, they saw Lauren, Solomon's wife, walk into the room, looking both angry and very pregnant. Solomon immediately jumped up and went to her, guiding Lauren into his own chair that he had vacated a moment ago.
"Solomon Jerome Olds," she hissed the moment her rump hit the seat. "Did you really throw such a tantrum that this poor girl broke her ankle?" This was accompanied by a light swat aimed at Solomon's head. Looking over to Alexa, Lauren absentmindedly rubbed her stomach and started peppering the girl with questions on how she was doing.
Alexa blew off the questions, saying she was fine. After Lauren got done asking Alexa if she was ok, Alexa asked the question that was burdening her mind. "How did you know where we were, and what happened?"
To this, Lauren simply gave a smile. "John called me and told me and told me that my Soli caused you to accidentally break your ankle." Lauren shot a look at Solomon that made him duck and murmur something non of them could make out. "You wanna run that by us again, Soli?" Lauren laughed when he blushed and quickly spoke.
"Alexa, I am sure sorry about your foot. If you want to leave the tour and go home, I fully understand." Solomon looked so upset at saying that, almost like he would cry if she did leave, that Alexa couldn't help but feel bad for the guy.
"Dude, why would I want to leave?! Dude, even with this thing on my leg, I still want to be here with you all!" Alexa suddenly wondered if he meant he WANTED her to leave? Quickly she amended herself, "I mean, if y'all want me to stay..." she trailed off, now unsure where she stood with them.
Looking over she met Josh's eyes, who simply said, "It's gonna take some work to get around on that ankle, and we can switch bunks so you can have the bottom one ok?"
"OK, Josh, thanks," Alexa said with a smile. "Are you all sure that you still want me out on tour with ya?" This got several eager nods, four to be exact. Looking over to Solomon, who wasn't paying full attention, as he was carefully watching Lauren's every move, Alexa said, "Soli, are you SURE you still want me along?"
Solomon looked up with a start. "Well, yeah I want you along! It'll be fun to try to manuever you around the stage with that clunky thing on! And we can all sign it!" With that, Solomon produced a sharpie marker, and the whole band signed Alexa's cast.
