The next day I had to go to school, bummer. Niall wasn't in because of the whole graffiti thing and he was the only person I'd made friends with so I'd basically be a loner. It was currently lunch time so I grabbed a slice of pizza and went to our table where we [me and Niall] usually sat for lunch.

"Omg! You're Briana, right?"

"Uh no, Bethany actually," I corrected.

Three girls sat around me, all looking at me.

"I'm Avery, this is Halle and that is Rachel," Avery said, introducing them all.

"I know," I said back.

"So, where's your delicious boyfriend?" Avery asked.

"Who?" I asked back.

"Niall, duh," Halle bluntly said.

"Niall, he's not in," I said, hoping that they would leave.

"Well why not?" Rachel asked.

"Personal reasons I'm sure," I said, not wanting to give away the fact that he was off because of the police.

"Cool, can we sit with you?" Halle asked.

"You already are."

"So, fancy scoring me a date with Niall?" Avery asked.

"No, not really," I said whilst eating my pizza.

"I'll say again. Fancy scoring me a date with Niall?" She repeated in a somewhat threatening tone.

"I'll say again, no, not really," I replied back in the same tone.

"Listen, Briana, you will get me a date with Niall," she bossed.

"Firstly, my names Bethany, secondly, you don't scare me."

"We'll see about that," she smirked and walked away.

Avery was your average high school popular. Blonde hair, tall and thin, rich, owned a Mercedes, the squad who followed her like lost sheep. Halle had long brown hair, she was genuinely pretty but also a bit of a bitch. Then there was Rachel, she was practically Avery's bodyguard.

"So, Bethany, how was school?" Harry asked as I got in his car.

"Honestly? Awful," I admitted.

"How so?" He asked.

"Just girls really, who knew they could be such bitches," I said.

"Well, I was hoping that you would be in a better mood," Harry said.

"Woah, you missed the turning?" I questioned.

"I'm taking you to get your permit," he grinned.

---

"Bethany!" Aurora smiled.

"Oh, hey!" I smiled back.

"How did it go then?" She asked.

"How did what go?"

"Your permit," she giggled.

"Oh yeah, it was fine, thanks. Uh, where've you been?" I asked.

"I was off," she said.

"Oh, why?" I asked.

"Uh, my little boy wasn't well," she said kind of nervously.

"Oh, you have a son?" I asked.

"Yeah," She replied.

"What's his name?" I asked, trying to make her feel more comfortable around me.
