“Five minutes, please!” Kiara pleaded as she plopped her butt on the bench. “I fucking need to hydrate.”

Na-Eun began to giggle, she couldn't believe her best friend. “Kia, we haven't even been jogging for more than five minutes.” She placed her hands on her waist.

“Well, I'm sorry, little miss fitness. My body isn't really used to exercising! Breathing is my prime exercise, that's what I'm best at doing!” Kiara took her jug of water and began drinking from it. Na-Eun began to sit besides Kiara and sigh. “Hey, anything from, Eunie?”

“No, nothing's—”

“Yeah, don't try to lie, bitch. I know you.” Kiara gave her a devious glare.

Na-Eun could've known better than lie to Kiara. And so, with a deep breath, she started to talk. “Junghyun hasn't been talking to me ever since yesterday. It bothers me.”

“Lol, the Jeons bother you a lot, hm?” Kiara started to chuckle. “Both are ignoring you now—”

“Kia,” Na-Eun whined. She started to continue afterwards. “I really don't want to assume but I think it's because I said that we were friends.”

Kiara began to smile. “Well, duh. He likes you, then you called him a friend.”

“He doesn't like me—”

“Oh, honey. I'm just spilling tea.” Kiara wiggled her eyebrows.

Na-Eun began to roll her eyes at the process. “And now, I'm stuck with hanging out with Lani later.”

“Hey! Who's Lani?” Kiara arched an eyebrow.

“Oh, forgot to tell you, Lani's this super pretty girl that obviously likes Mr. Jeon,” Na-Eun pursed her lips. “But she seems nice, so I invited her over at my house later.”

Kiara had her jaws hanging. It's not that Kiara didn't want Na-Eun to have other friends, it's just that she feels like Na-Eun's going to go into some deep shit if she hangs out with a girl who likes her fiancé.

Who knows, she may be insane at some point, like in the movies.

“Do you want me to come later or nah?” Kiara started to purse her lips.

“Nah . . . I think I need some time with her, too. Anyway, I don't have anything to wear for the black and white party yet.” Na-Eun changed the topic.

Kiara began to smile widely, wiggling her eyebrows. “This calls for some shopping soon, hm? Oh, and you better support me on my upcoming lineup release. I designed those outfits myself.”

Na-Eun nodded, “I wouldn't miss it, Kia.”

. . .

Lani massaged her temples. She was driving, when the red light suddenly flashed. She had thirty seconds to take a quick break. “What have you gotten yourself into . . . ?” she asked herself.

Never has she felt more nervous. She was obviously insecure about Lee Na-Eun. Her previous competitors over Junghyun weren't that exquisite, she may say that she finally found a good competition.

As she was driving, she almost jumped once she saw Junghyun's caller ID pop out. It was a first—ever since she arrived at Seoul that is. “Sugar! Glad you called! Missed me already?”

“Lani, are you seriously going to Miss Lee's house?”

“Called me by my first name, that's a good start.”
