Wolves Attack

*Aphmau's POV*
I woke up in the same place as before. Everyone was looking at me. "Aph... are you okay?" Aaron asked concerned. "Yeah I just fainted. I'm so hungry too." "That's probably why you fainted. You need to eat especially because you are now pregnant." Garroth added. I nodded and took the food Travis had cooked over the fire. "This is great!" Travis looked over at me. "I try." Travis said smiling. I laughed and went back to eating. I stared at my food for a moment, then looked at Aaron. "Aaron what are we going to name our baby?" I asked, still staring down. He looked at me than grabbed my hand. "I don't know yet, but whatever it is, I'm just glad it's ours." Aaron said, holding my hands. I gave a bright smile. I was super happy, but that was dismissed by the sound of heavy footsteps behind me.

Play music:
I turned and jumped at what I saw. "There they are!" The Wolf King shouted. Aaron jumped in front of me. He was followed by Garroth, Travis, and Katelyn. I wanted to help, but Katelyn pushed me back. I fell to the ground. "I want to help! I'm not defenseless!" I shouted at her. She turned around. "You are staying right there! Your not moving from that spot!" Katelyn sounded so angry. I sat there crossing my arms. I looked between the spaces next to them. There was so many wolves. I ran up behind Aaron and hugged him. He turned shocked. I cried into his shoulder. "Don't die on me please." I said. He looked me in the eyes. "I won't. I promise." He turned back around and went to fight.

*Aaron's POV*
I stared at the wolves. I needed to protect Aph at all costs. I promised her I wouldn't die, but I doubt I'll live through all these wolves. As I attacked the wolves, I could hear a shriek from behind me. I turned and saw they were surrounding Aph. I came up behind one and cut its back. It howled in pain. He turned and clawed my face. I flinched, but went back to fighting. I could feel blood drip from my body. I was clawed so many times. I felt weak but, I needed to protect her, no matter what happens to me.

Finally it was over. All the wolves fled or had been killed. Aph looked at me. She saw all the cuts on me. I turned so she wouldn't see them. She grabbed my hand and flung me around. I sat down and stared at my hands. They were covered in blood. Aph sat in my lap. She laid her head on my chest. I couldn't feel her tears falling from her cheeks onto my torn shirt. I hugged her. She didn't look at me. All she did was cry. "I think you two need some time alone." Travis said. He grabbed Katelyn and Garroth's hands and brought them outside.

Aph looked up at me. Her eyes were red and she was still crying. "What's wrong?" I asked stroking her hair. "You almost died... I thought I lost you for good." She cried harder. I held her tighter. "It's just a few scratches I'll be fine." "No they aren't Aaron! You don't understand that those cuts could've been the end of you! You could have died from blood loss or they could've cut you in worse places! So no they aren't just scratches!" Aph shouted and stood up walking away. "Aph! Wait!" I chased after her. She stormed up the stairs of the castle. I followed her to a libray. Aph was on the balcony, her arms on the metal railing taking in the cold, fresh air.

I approached her slowly and wrapped one of my arms around her waist. She looked up at me. I could feel the anger in her. "Aph... I am so sorry. I didn't know you felt that way about what had happened." She started to cry harder. I pulled her in closer to me. "You could've died during that... don't think of them as nothing. They could've ended your life." "I won't, I promise."
