I parked my motorcycle in the parking lot and walked up to the building. Leaning against the school wall, I shrug up my hood and take in my surroundings.
School.
People.
It's always the same. Everyone that goes to this freaking school is fake. Well, not everyone... You get my drift. I grab my backpack and head inside towards my locker. At least this is my last year in this hell hole. I've been waiting for senior year since I've started high school. Now it's finally here. I turn the corner and crash into someone. My backpack slams to the floor along with the idiot that ran into me. I look down to grab my bag and see a pair of innocent hazel eyes, with chocolate colored hair sprawled around the girl. I clear my throat and put on my usual intimidating look, before snatching my bag and stomping away.
I look back in time to see the girl with a small frown on her face as she tries to pick up all of her books. I silently groan and stomp back over to her, picking up her books and giving them to her once she stood up. I shake my head and quickly make my way to my locker. Pulling out my books, I slam my locker door shut, and walk my way over to class.
Everyone at this school thinks I'm dangerous. I may be the bad boy, but I never miss my chance at an education. I always come to school unless I'm sick, and I low-key do really well in school. My father died about a year ago in a car accident, so it's just my mother. I have a little sister named Amanda who I'd do anything for. I do whatever I can to help my mom out, but I have never done anything illegal. I bet the only reason people think I'm trouble, is because I don't take any crap from anyone.
Last year, this guy spread a rumor that I was out of school for a week because I was in jail; but in reality, it was because my father died and I didn't want to go back to school just yet. That was the year I changed. I started to shut everyone out. That was also the year I beat the crap out of that kid. His name was Tommy Benson. That year I made friends that weren't the brightest. They were the ones who did all the illegal stuff. Not me.
I take a seat in the back of my first period class... Math. I look around the room and see the familiar chocolate colored hair. I stare at the back of her head the whole class, wanting her to turn around so I could see her face. The crazy thing is, I don't even know her name. The bad thing is, she's sitting next to Tommy Benson. I have a gut feeling that they're friends.
The teacher walks in and writes our class assignment on the board, telling us that we had to get it all done by the end of the class. I smirk and take out my notebook, opening it to the first page. This was going to be easy.

"Hey, man. What's up?" My friend Lucas asks, taking a seat next to me at the lunch table.
"Nothing much. How was your summer?"
"Great. I met this amazing girl though. She is so beautiful, with the body of a goddess..." I hear him drone on. I don't pay attention though. I just watch as the hazel-eyed girl walks to her lunch table and sits with a bunch of her friends, across the cafeteria.
"... Cam?"
My head whips toward him.
I clear my throat. "Yea?"
"Did you listen to anything I said?"
"Uh yea, man. The girl, great body..."
"Cam, I said that she is transferring to our school. Her name is Grace. I think I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend."
I stare in shock. Lucas wasn't the "girlfriend" type. At all.
I give him a smile after thinking about it. "Nice man, go for it!" I exclaim, giving him a slap on the back.
He chuckles. "I will."
Lucas gives me a sly smirk. "You got your eye on anyone?"
I choke on my Caprisun. "Nope."
He starts to laugh. "You friggin' liar!"
Once I get my breathing under control, I gasp dramatically. "Me? A liar? Never!"
Lucas chuckles and leans over the table. "Seriously though, who is she?" He whispers, trying to be secretive.
I sigh and shrug. "I don't know."
He gives me a flat look. "Really? Are you serious?"
I nod, taking a bite of my sandwich. "Yup."

After the last bell rang, I pretty much shouted, "goodbye suckers," in Spanish, and high tailed it to my locker. Once I grabbed my books and put them into my backpack, I slam my locker shut and walk outside. I take a breath of fresh air and spot my motorcycle and start heading towards it, smiling. Strapping my bag around my shoulders tightly, I pop on my helmet and jump onto my bike. Starting it up, I pull out of the parking lot and make my way home.
Ten minutes later, I pull into my driveway and park my bike. Hopping off the bike, I start walking up to the front door. I unlock the door and walk inside, dropping my stuff next to the door.
"I'm home!" I shout, listening to see if anyone else was home.
"Cammy!!" Amanda shrieks, running towards me. She jumps and gives me a big hug, wrapping her legs around my waist.
I chuckle and ruffle her hair. "Hey, sunshine."
She screams quietly. "Cammy!! Don't mess up my hair!"
"Fine. I'm sorry. Do you accept my apology?" I ask, pouting my lip.
"Yea, I accept your apology. Can we watch Tangled?"
I chuckle and take her hand, leading her to the couch. "Of course, sweetie. Where's mom?"
Amanda plops on the couch. "She's sleeping. She worked a lot last night. She pretty much passed out right after she picked me up from school."
I place the movie into the DVD player. "Oh."
I take a seat next to her and start the movie.
